I talked to Meredith when the 3 pics came out. She thought the ostrich Petite Malle might get worn from hand oils etc. She told me she was going to get the Capucines so she could wrap the handle. I ended up ordering the karung after I saw her unboxing of her karung PM. The lilac definitely didn’t look like the photos. I was hugely disappointed and sent it back. My CA is having a hard time finding the ostrich Capucines now.

As far as the special box for exotics; I bought a karung petite malle in May, and did not get a special box with it. My usual CA was off that day, but had arranged for one of his associates to show me the bag, which I ended up purchasing. It was packaged in a normal LV box that everything else comes in. Then last month when visiting a different store, I spotted a Rose De Vents in karung, which I bought. That one came with the special box. I mentioned to that CA how nice the box was, and how my karung petite malle didn’t come in one. She said that was an oversight by my local store, and that she would mail me a special box for that one. I thanked her, but told her I would pick one up from her when I visited her again in a month or so. I have to admit, the special box is NICE. It adds that little extra bit of luxury to the purchase.

Congrats! I love her and the color! I just got an ostrich capucines last weekend in green! I was looking for that color in ostrich and it just had come into my local store (they ordered it for the store, and it was not on display-I had to ask for it). It was meant to be! I did not get the special box but that is OK. However, the bag with the strap is embroided with the leather tag! Enjoy her! How fun we got ours at the same time! Love your enthusiasm and your videos! OMG this is a stunner! I love Cyndi! This is like the ostrich version of Taylor! (did I remember her name correctly??? your pink-purple ombre croc???) I also received a photo of the karung petite malle from my SA and I would NEVER have guessed that it's not metallic! It looked SO shiny in the photo! But you're right. You can't believe everything you see in photos!

Ostrich is the best material! Great bag! Question: do you know if Louis Vuitton would allow you to create an ostrich belt? Is that something you think they could do or no? I know you said in another video that Louis can create custom pieces but I’m not sure if that just has to do with trunks.

I ended up ordering the Karung Petite Malle and I too ended up returning it. There was just no wow factor. It looked way better on film.
