Just 3 miles north over the hills from Owl campground is the site of a 1900 to 1915 gold mining camp called Coolgardie Camp. It was named after a gold mining town in Australia. There's still quite a bit of gold there.

How narrow were the narrowest parts? Couldn't really tell on camera- is it wide enough for a full sized truck?

It is wide enough for a full size pickup. No RVs or truck campers allowed. Rocks protrude at narrow sections that could damage anything with height above a normal pickup. Thanks for watching! Lou
