It doesn’t surprise me two beautiful women had intersected before. From the time I first saw Mandisa I knew she had such a special light of the Lord. She was clearly the one I voted for on AI as long as I could. She was one I rooted & sang along with. She was the one who helped me overcome in those rough days of battling cancer. I wept hard when I heard of your crossing over; not for you oh no you have entered His glory. I wept for us 😢

I love Lifeway and Living Proof!! I grew up with Jesus and Beth doing lessons and lessons until I could hear Beth’s voice as I read the pages! I’m so thankful to have found this video. I’ve been thinking of Mandisa since I heard the shocking news. I had been listening to Broken Hallelujah since my Dad’s death on 4-11-24. I requested that song for his funeral service. The next day the news reported she was gone. Like Beth I thought there was a mistake. I couldn’t believe it!

To be honest ...I almost did not click on this video. I'll share that in a minute. I love Mandisa and her song "Overcomer" came out just prior to my cancer diagnosis. I must have listened to it a thousand times. I also battle depression, so she was so relatable to me. The news of her death truly gutted me. I know she is with the Lord and I know I will see her one day. Now, why I almost didn't click on this video....Beth Moore. I used to do all her Bible studies when she first started. Then she became (IMO) so self-righteous and so pious, I just can't listen to her anymore. THIS video, however, was the Beth that was when she first started. She was so real, so authentic and didn't have that pious attitude she has in all her videos (again IMO). Thank you Beth and Travis for honoring Mandisa in this way. She is rejoicing in the arms of our Savior. We, however, need to continue carrying on the message of Christ. WE are his plan to carry on the message. He did not have a Plan B.

I could never connect w/her. And I found this to be painstaking to get though. I even ‘pushed it’ fwd. Too much of what I was hearing was about them. Better, after you got past the 10 min point. Haven't seen or heard about either of you for quite a while and I'm sad about that. Glad to see this video, provided to me by the KZbin algorithm (thank you YT) because I'm mourning Mandisa's death. Beth, I don't even know what you said, but a few years back my ladies' ministry decided you were now persona non grata and we went from doing Beth Moore bible studies for YEARS AND YEARS to anybody but. Travis, you and I did a duet long distance; you were part of Kenn Tolle's Hosanna Sacred Arts' Pascha recording in Nashville and then I got to sing my part over/with yours in Indianapolis - this was way back in like 2000 - and I said, so who is this great voice I'm singing with? Kenn says, "The great Travis Cotrell!" "Never heard of him," says I. "He's Beth Moore's worship leader!" OHHHHHH!!!!!! Instantly I went out and bought your records and have been a huge fan ever since. I had no idea Mandisa was that amazing singer with you guys because at the time I didn't know Mandisa. It's so cool to see and hear your part of the story. Love you all. God bless you and keep you and your ministry.
