I’m here for a week already. What I can say…it’s super hard to find a job, all places are full of staff, you’re lucky if you find any kind of job. Rents are high. So, don’t think it’s a paradise or something. People can’t find job here for 2-5 months. You have to be ready for it. And yes, your English level doesn’t matter. Most of WHV guys speak English

Dear Australians, I'm Nigerian, never been to Australia, but I've been obsessed with your country since I was a kid (when I read about it in "the illustrated encyclopedia" and thought Sydney was a cool name for a city), I know your regions, major regional cities, have learnt to speak your accent to a good degree😹, follow Australian news closely, am fascinated by your culture and now have my sights set for WA, Perth or Mandurah especially. I have heard y'all aren't racist and can be sarcastic (which is food for me), I hope i will be welcome in your country that I hope to make mine someday, I am ready to set my foot onshore as a pharmacist next year. If yes, do I have to worry about weather? Nigeria is so hot and humid, I follow Perth weather so I know it gets hot around December through February, but I hear on Reddit that its "dry heat"😹 and therefore nothing to worry about (don't mind the laughter, there's a lot of of jokes around the "dry heat"😹)

Can you make a video about the things to arrange before the move to Australia? Like should you sell most of your stuff or should you ship everything by container etc. I want to convince my wife to sell all her 3 closets of cloths because i assume shipping everything might be very expensive. But maybe i’m wrong… looking forward to it!
@livingsimplyaustralia8 ай бұрын
Lol, yes, I think it will be cheaper to get new furniture and clothing here, rather than shipping it. Having said that, if all her clothes fit in 3 big suitcases perhaps that's alright?

hey, you say in the video you can get a bankaccount before coming to australia but you need a TFN. the problem is you can only get your TFN when you are in australia? how do you do it
@livingsimplyaustralia8 ай бұрын
You'll do that once you are in Australia. It's not compulsory to provide your TFN right away when you open the account (although it's likely you'll be asked for it, but it's not required). You can do so, after your arrival. As I said in the video, check your bank's requirements as they may vary from bank to bank.
@IvanPompa-lr7iy8 ай бұрын
They will only require the passport and visa to open an account. At least me, as a student, Commonwealth Bank required that. Later, to start working, I needed to apply for a TFN at ATO.

Nobody's guide.. Because nobody wants to live in a country of thieving politicians Australia is the most expensive country in the world impossible to live well impossible to rent a house with the salary that companies give you rents are from $800 to $1500 a week and not to mention if you go to a pub and order a beer they are $10 to $12 to give you an idea with that price in Spain you can drink 6 beers and in the Philippines about 12 beers and so on everything you buy in Australia is very expensive. Now tell me why I want to live in a country of thieves
