Putting frozen chicken in my sport is how I exploded my vacuum tube. I do not put anything frozen in anymore.

Very nice stove. I've seen a primitive version of this done using bamboo or something awhile back. Obviously this worked better, but now I know where the inspiration for this came from. Great review brother.

I live in one of the sun capitols of the USA, Tucson Az and even at 279 bucks I remain impressed. This is a real off grid/fuel cooker. Well thought out!!

Very interesting piece of equipment. Great for when there is sun or partial I guess . If there is no sun I guess no cooking?. Anyway very cool piece. Thanks. Tony.

I buy it, and perfectly working on winter.

good review. Main drawback as I see it is that I don't cook anything, when car camping, until late afternoon, early evening. I'm too busy with flyfishing, or hiking/exploring to be concerned about cook chores until the very end of the day. Also, I'm usually in heavily wooded areas when camping. It would be a possible alternative, definitely not a primary cook device. And its price precludes 3rd world, poverty stricken, areas.

Intrigued. Might try the Dogger. Live in a mountain forest and solar power isn't really an option. But get enough sun mid day to run one for a few hours.

the largest profit margins is apparently this companys (gosun) goal, you can purchase these same kind of vaccume tube solar cookers over seas for 1/4 of the price. To bad they dont sell for a modest profit margine, it would be much more popular here is the states and greatly impact the enviorment positivly, shame profit seems to be the bigest drive for this company showing they are money driven over environmentally driven.
@GoSunSolar6 жыл бұрын
Good design costs money, plain and simple. If we were a Chinese company selling junk, yes, the stove would be half the price, but at the end of the day you get what you pay for. In this case that includes a two year warranty and customer support, all of which cost money.
