I was a stay at Home mom with no money in my IRA or any savings of my own, which was scary at 53 years of age. Three years ago I got a part time job and save everything I make. Must be nice to have a husband that does something. Mine don't cook,clean,take care of the kids,outside work nothing. He works and that's all he does not that I don't appreciate him for working. However some help would be nice. I homeschool so I have that, housework, appointments, school gatherings ect plus work part time at night. I have tried getting into a routine and it's impossible my kids have chores however I have health issues with limited mobility and I'm always exhausted. I really enjoy your videos. Hi Cambria! Here im laughing at what you said about chores in your house and the outside yard work. When I was growing up my mother and i did all the chores inside the house. And my dad and both of my brothers did all the outside chores. Thats the eay it was for us back in the day. I hate yard work and love cleaning indoors my mom made house cleaning fun for me. And here i am today at 63 years old and still love to clean my house and it still is a fun thing for me to do. Thanks for my mother teaching me house cleaning csn be a fun thing to do. Hurricane season is here and please keep all your devices on their chargers and never take them off. Never know if you have to make a emergency phone call or something. Keep safe down there in the great state of Florida.

Love your channel. My husband is disabled and retired . I have no help. I stopped asking a long time ago. If I do he will say he will do it and it may or may it get done when I ask for it to. I also work a full time job as a substance abuse counselor as well as doing part time work for my company to help stay caught up in things in’s counselors can’t get done during the day. I’m exhausted when I’m off and don’t feel like doing a lot so I ask my daughter to help me with some housework each Saturday morning. I feel so useless and undeserving when it comes to cleaning and being able to get all housework done. I also help with my grandkids every weekend . I just wish I had a husband that would do something every now and again without having to argue with him or get upset to get things done . I feel very unappreciated at times but oh well I guess that’s life for some these days.

My husband does majority of outside work and I do majority of inside. I discovered years ago that his function style is having a list (per room) of what needs to get done. That way he can pick things to do versus me 'telling' him. And actually, a list is a good way to see all we've accomplished, e.g. when preparing for a holiday meal, overnight guests, grocery shopping etc

I have a different version of tortellini soup..I buy fresh tortellini stuffed with Italian sausage. I get it at Safeway. Then I buy rotisserie chicken from Costco that’s in a bag and off the bone. I use chicken broth, add onion and garlic and a bag of mixed vegetables…no tomato sauce so it’s more like a chicken noodle soup…yummy. I’ll try your recipe for something different..it looks delicious! Athena is so beautiful! She looks a lot like Freya ❤

In my day after a c section I was in hospital for 10 days (Scotland Uk). Got home ,did everything,hoovering/vacuumed everything, just got on where I left off Cared for 3 kids hubby and home. Husband’s didn’t get leave from work in those days to help out. So just got on with it. The day I got home,I painted my kitchen.
