At that time, we needed to buy paper tickets(4 yuan) for the school shuttle bus, and when buying food in the canteen, we needed to swipe student cards, we didn't have App or QR code at that time lol. @@livinlavidaluke I already binged that :p would definitely be looking forward to any phd/study related content if thats on your list. on the lab situation at a chinese university: I was usually among the first in the lab around 8am. Most ppl would arrive between 10 and 11am. Then regardless go to lunch at 11:30 although basically noone of them did much work. Afterwards lab would be half empty with chinese students going for a nap (no kidding). I would leave by 4/5pm and they were always wondering why I would leave so early. Ofc the professor would only notice me not being there while his other students stayed -.-' They would stick around until maybe 10 pm. Not very effective though. But I also noticed a lot were sticking around because the lab was more spacious than their shared dorm rooms, so lab time doesnt rly equal working hours in that case. Many would also play games or watch a movie at their desk. greetings from germany

A good and logical book on TCM is 中醫精准辨證論治學by 孫喜靈who is an important figure in combining chinese and western medicine, thats why his book is more like a western style textbook in its presentation and its numerous examples

Super interesting and informative, thanks for uploading! Out of interest what's the situation like with COVID and university campuses? I saw in the video you were able to enter the university campus from outside by scanning the app, is it like that for all universities in China at the moment, do you know? I've heard that a number of university campuses in China were locked down for a very long time, even after the situation was brought under control in China, and students were unable to enter or leave... I'm considering going to university in China, but the idea of being locked down on campus all the time and unable to leave majorly puts me off the idea. There's not really any information about this online, so it would be good to get an insight into what it's like as a student there from someone who's already there now. Anyway, sorry for the long comment, and cheers for uploading again!
@livinlavidaluke3 жыл бұрын
Yeah so i wasn’t able to enter my campus until about August last year! But i can go and leave freely now so you don’t need to worry. I visited Xiamen in January and i wanted to look around their university (renowned for being the most beautiful uni in the world) but they only let xiamen students in, so it seems it’s like that everywhere now. But these cities are really safe and have had no cases for months so the rules are relaxed, if you come here it will be fine BUT right now students have not been able to enter china since last year so i’d wait until you hear about that first before coming. If you can come this year, 100% do it! I’m living the exact same life now as i did before COVID (only exception is wearing a mask and scanning in places...).

@@livinlavidaluke Thanks for letting me know. A lot of cancer types indeed.
