What I find amazing is, that virtually no one, including children, are wearing some kind of lifejacket. Boats going out and boats coming back in, no one has a lifejacket on. There should be some type of law enforcement or auxiliary CG stationed just before the point of leaving these channels and inlets to ensure that boaters are wearing them. If they refuse, then turn them around and they go back to the harbor.

I’ve gone diving, boating, and fishing at Lake Worth Inlet just north of Palm Beach. The craziest boating I’ve ever seen in my life was there at Lake Worth Inlet! You get these Palm Beach millionaires captaining multi-million dollar boats, but who have almost no idea how to properly captain such a large vessel! It’s absolute craziness at Lake Worth Inlet!

What are the notches that you see on the underside of some of the boats; not the rakes but almost little holes the size of baseballs. Are they underwater floodlights?
@DaBrute2 жыл бұрын
Sounds like the bow thruster by that description
@maladat2 жыл бұрын
The single hole at the very front is a bow thruster. The several notches near the back are “stepped hulls,” it’s a way to reduce hull contact with the water to reduce drag and make the boat faster.
