As a young boy raised on Lake Superior in Canada, our training was the first thing we did was put a pft on. The last thing we did was take it off. It's all fun and games until a child gets knocked out and then thrown out of a boat. Monumental stupidity.

Davis, I retired from the Merchant marine. The crap I have seen folks do putting their kids in danger, bow ridding, not having a look out when towing s tube or ski, throwing the kids out of the tube and into the path of another boat when the toeing boat does a 180 degree turn at high speed, switching their running lights, and drunk. Saw the aftermath of a checkmate muscle boat crashing into a bridge support.

some of these people should be given IQ test, to see if they can be allowed near the water!. earlier I saw a boat made for 5 to 7 people, go out and sink in the channel with 20 people onboard!. takes real brains to do that!!!.

It's a small fishing troller (motor) for when you don't need much power but might need to turn the boat or keep it from drifting a bit. I was surprised it was left on there to be ripped through the ocean that way. I think those are only meant for lake and river fishing.
