Before you even mentionned it, I also thought "Love is blind" was a great theme for something dark. It made me think of a 2D game where you're essentially looking for your character's girlfriend. But the closer you get to her, the darker it gets, and the less you can see what you're doing, leaving you vulnerable to what lurks around. Of course, when it comes to ideas in early stage, it's completely touch and go, but the darkness of the themes you play around is something I genuinely love and that makes me curious whenever you put something out there. Love your channel Lixian :)

I was honestly expecting some sort of ending for getting 17 hearts specifically, to go off of her locker number 17. Not sure what it would be or how it would tie in with the overall theme, but it would’ve been interesting. Loved the game and all the endings in it regardless, great job!

Making it 3D if you don't even have a working demo is a stupid decision.

I played the game and got all 5 endings. The twist at the end was very well done. I was suspicious the whole time, but never 100% sure. Honestly, if I had to find something to say about the game that was in any way critical (it's hard to do, very well done game) is some of the dialogue. There are a couple grammatical errors, but that's not really what I mean. Sometimes the dialogue is a bit too "on the nose", like the antagonist kind of just says things that the person playing likely already knew, or could have assumed. I can't remember exactly what it was, but she basically said that was going to finish the job. It wasn't THAT long, but I feel like a simple "She pulled a gun out of locker 17, looked at me and said 'no witnesses'" and then a fade out would have been more effective as a punch to the gut. Just my opinion though, I really loved the game overall.

I stopped the video when you told me, downloaded the game and played! I really, really enjoyed it. The levels were challenging, but not too frustrating. I enjoyed figuring out what enemies and hearts would knock out what blocks. My first ending I had partial enemies killed and hearts collected, so it felt like a bad ending even though there's probably a worse ending I haven't gotten. I decided to tinker a bit and only collect hearts, and innocent love seems like a better ending, though my character is still in love with a psychopath...so, that's a problem. I'm going to go back and try not collecting or killing ANYTHING, but I wanted to let you know how much fun I'm having! It's so charming, and I honestly wish there were more levels, because I can see myself playing for hours on end! Plus, imagining a more fledged out plot line was making me giddy, but that's besides the point~ GREAT WORK!

I never done any game design but I want to be one. After watching you struggle and play testing your game, it really helped me have the push of motivation I need to become a game developer. All I want to say is thanks for sharing this video.

I want to say that the level design is a solid 10/10. The way the tutorial just tells you wat to do makes you forget about what you are doing and just do it because it's your goal. The fact that the game only tells you how to reset after you already needed it is just perfect. And I love how you managed to design every section in such a way that it's playable and challenging in 5 different ways. I loved playing your game!

Hello Lixian, I downloaded the game and it was great, the endings the spooky effects even the mechanics , Great job!. However I just wanted to let you know in the minute 10:00 you said that "if you got the good ending the menu art would change" I had the awake ending but the title screen didnt changed.

I actually tweeted you my thoughts for the game not thinking i could just do it here. I see now why you made the tweaks and boy am I happy I played the tweaked version now. I stopped the video when you said "I'm about to spoil the game" and went to go play it. You did a great job! I very much enjoyed this little gem. When you said you were gonna spoil the ending, I paused the video, downloaded the game, played all 5 endings, and I just came back to finish the video ;P awesome game, it was very relaxing and enjoyable to play!
