He ate spicy food and went.....uh....mad? and ended up swinging his claymore around and kinda fucking up the restaurant. he offered to pay for it for it but the restaurant then informed him that xingqiu already paid for damages. “When Chongyun physically heats up, his congenital positivity causes him to enter a nearly manic state during which he loses it and becomes exceptionally friendly, illogical, and excitable- usually causing extreme chaos. Chongyun doesn't remember anything from his time in this state once he returns to normal, and is usually extremely upset by the havoc he learns he wreaked, and goes to extreme lengths to apologize for his behavior. As for the Chinese song, it's actually a rewritten horror folk song call "the ten rabbits" In Hu Tao's version. Replacing rabbits with hillichurl. "Big Hillichurl became sick, 2nd Hillichurl tends to him, 3rd Hillichurl gathers the medicinal, 4th hillichurl cooks the medicine, 5th Hillichurl suddenly dies, 6th Hillichurl carries him" The meaning behind the the song, which goes as far as 7th rabbit dug the grave, 8th rabbit buries the 5th, 9th rabbit cries in front of the grave, the 10th rabbit ask why, the 9th rabbit says 5th rabbit left and never return. The meaning behind the song was never made clear, but most suspect that the 5th organs was used as medicine to save the big rabbit. Big rabbit = King, 2nd = Doctor, 3rd/4th are assistant to the doctor, 5th is unsuspecting sacrifice, 6/7/8 are funeral rabbits, 9th is the lover/family of the 5th, 10th is the one who wrote the song.

There's also a suspected ending to this folk song: "Raise/Lift it high, bury it deep, Don't let the big(1st) rabbit climb back up". I put the "it" in because the original text did not provide a grammatical subject to fit the English context. So we don't actually know whether the 5th is sacrificed or not. "高高的抬深深地埋, 不要让大兔子爬上来" is the original text. If you want to be spooked a bit more, center aligning the whole poem including the extra ending will give you a gravestone. As for the bald men poem, I think @Tea Time confused "五秃子捡了块板儿, 六秃子钉了个眼儿", which says the 6th bald man drilled a hole (into a piece of wood that the 5th guy found), with drilling into his eyes. Both of these folk songs goes under the broad category of "Mother Goose", a set of fairy tales told in French and English nurseries. A famous English one would be "Ten little indians", also quite spooky.

As a person who speaks Korean, I can tell you the Korean version talks about 6 hilichurls instead of one or two. The verses are similar to the japanese version, with each of them getting sick or looking out for the sick. Its sort of implied the hilichurls are related, but it doesnt explicitly say so, which is interesting to note.

the designer for xingqiu and chongyun said that they are both designed to be counterparts in clothing, visions, talents etc. they even told a story about how chongyun and xingqiu have matching tassels on their visions because they gifted one another those tassels. after a long day of chongyun training xingqiu gifted him the handmade tassel as a symbol of their friendship and love for one another. chongyun basically burst into tears at receiving the gift and soon after a few days later chongyun gifted xingqiu a matching tassel for his vision as well. they have such respect and loyalty for one another and clearly care about each other a lot. so in conclusion, yes they are gay.

Xinyan fits the friend group way more than Hu Tao does. almost all of Liyue characters aren't fond of Hu Tao. I see her as that weird kid by herself who tries to make friends with her weird antics, like how she does with Xiangling. on the other hand, Xinyan is friends with Xiangling and Chongyun (not sure with Xingqiu but i think he's the friend who brought Chongyun to her concert). Even in that Moonlight Merriment scene, you can see Hu Tao alone on the rooftop, looking at everyone.

There is also Xinyan, Chongyun likes her music, a lot, but cant listen it for long cause it makes his heart beat too fast and his inner personality comes out and he starts rocking out, Xinyan loves Xianglings cooking and Xian cooks for Xin all the time, they also chat quite often. Xingqiu doesn't like her because of how loud her music is, it disrupts his reading time.

Hu tao's chinese song is saying something like this: Eldest hilichurl is sick, Second hilichurl looks after him; Third hilichurl grabs the medicine, Forth hilichurl boils it; Fifth hilichurl is dead, Sixth hilichurl lifts him~ -- I think all the hilichurls are related, with the numbers implying to be the order of their births (like how siblings are addressed, ie. second sister is 二姐 (er jie) and third sister is 三姐 (san jie)) Feel free to correct me if im wrong!

In Chinese poem, there's a game where you came up first first 2 verse, and the other respond with 2 following verse to form a pair verse. I'll just come up with one based on Xingqiu and Hutao's character. First verse normal, second verse playful/mean e.g. "Morning sun, shining brightly over the horizon, sing too does the birds as insects return to the trees to hide" "Sunset, the land dims over like a blanket dropping down, children cries as parents drags them home" The pair is establish with sunrise/set, one shine bright, the other dims dark, bird sings and insect goes home willingly to hide, children cries as they got drag home unwillingly. Just to give you guys an idea.

ok hear me out, as a chinese person ive heard her hilichurl song from WAYY back in 2019 (i think?) ive heard it on douyin (og tiktok) and basically the original song goes with the same beat and lyrics but form what i remember it was about a family of rabbit and they all got sick (i think?) and then the seventh bunny (which hutao didnt manage to finish the song) was sang like “and the seventh nummy burried them alive) so just wanted to put this in here :) and the song is making me nostalgic now
