Liz, I love your channel! It’s easy to watch, and by that I mean that your editing is so well done! The segments show just the right amount of demonstration. These dups were spot on ! One tip for painting the inside of the vase is to thin your paint and pour inside and swirl a few times. ( just a thought ) Enjoyed this very much. More please 😊

History lesson…..That basket came from Dresden Ohio. They were made for the Longaberger basket company and I’m sure all of us (crazy collectors) purchased at least one at some point. Mine has been outside in the Texas heat for 20 years and still looks the same🤭😂😂

I absolutely adore thrifting videos!!! & - BONUS - DIY of the thrift items! Please do more of these. One of my favorite videos was when your hubby went thrifting for items for you to DIY. For the handles on the basket, you also could removed the wicker ones, purchased a purse @ the thrift store & used the strap to make the handles. Then you would've also had "leather" to cover your tray. You also could've stained the picnic basket to give it a darker color like the PB basket. Still loved all of these!!! Keep it up!

The last one was my favorite. If you still have that handy and want to make it an even closer dupe, use a little antique gold rub and buff on the brads, and it will match better, and pop against the dark brown more.

Love the POTTERY BARN dupes, Liz! You really captured all of the little details, such as using the brads on the leather handles on the basket and rounding the edges of the leather. I thought the drip paint technique you did on the bottom of the vases worked brilliantly! The rub and buff gold trinket dish really looks rich and elegant. I think this one is my favorite. Just love watching what you create! So inspiring! Now I want to go and buy some sample paint to have on hand for all of my projects, too!

I love the old lamp and The big white lampshade. It look great after you painted it white. Also the lamp at sales and filling them with spackle it looks great I like it better than Pottery Barn lamp. A tip for painting inside of the vases, use a small soft sponge to paint it. It's easier to get into the small space.

Liz, Great look-a-likes! Love sooo many but I plan on recreating the boxes so I'll pick that as my favorite. The basket looks wonderful. A couple of years ago I bought a man's brown leather belt at the thrift store for handles on a similar project. If you added up the money different it's probably a savings of $100.00's. "Pottery Barn". Great dupes. My favorite was the lamp (not a fan of the vertical groove design but the black paint camouflaged some of those details). For this reason, dupes are the way to go to save $ and it can look better than the splurge. Great job Liz 👏🏽

Thank you, Liz, for this video. I used to spend a lot on things such as this, but since I had children, I had to be more careful with money. Also, my tastes change over the years, so I don't want to spend a lot on something only to grow tired of it.
