Thanks a lot, Lizzie !!! Awesome post mixing and sharing your experience through the "rules & Cia." ✨ Best Statement on the video: "take a shot as a person, not like a camera" 👏🏻 Photography above all, it is an art expression... the capture of light (so lets let it shine through our sensitive 🤙🏻) See ya, blue skies 🍀📷

Awesome video on composition Lizzie, very easy to watch and follow compared to other photographers who go into too much detail and over complicate it. Mind you one thing I have learned in 10+ years of doing photography, sometimes it is ok to break the rules of photography with negative space and leading lines, tule of thirds etc... but I tend to use (and sometimes break them) them all in my photography. This will be an awesome video to share with some of my friends who are novice photographers.

I was liking your video until you said, you shouldn't cut any limbs, but, oh, I cut her toes, well, it's still a good photo. Basically you said it has no problem because you were the one Who did it. And it confuses somebody else. Some tips were good, but you could show more in site how you make decisions

You’re EDITING Your Videos Wrong. Let me explain. You do a beautiful job giving examples and everything. Well produced, very complete. But please, adjust your video editor to not cut frames every time you pause your sentence. It would make your video perfect.

While I get the intention of putting as much content into an 18 minutes long video as possible... I do agree with your point, I'd possibly take that stressful feeling of the video. Besides that point an awesome video and a point that I had been thinking about these days. Thanks Lizzie!

I actually really like the editing :)

@@MariannesStudio It's almost perfect, in my opinion. What I don't like are the little cuts that make the video 'choppy' every now and then. I do not mean the cuts that were done on purpose. I think you would still like it if these cuts were fixed, wouldn't you?

2:27 - I don’t know if these are great examples. Both of the pictures here seem to be intentionally using using negative space “incorrectly” for artistic and/or expressive purposes, meaning the negative space is actually being framed as the subject.

Cactus was quite cool. It feels like you expected more cactus and there weren't and you stop at that moment and here is the photo of that moment But lighthouse missed something on the other side as they already added stuff on bottom. It needed some wave or smth on right corner and it would have been enough. That mist ruined it a little bit as it so undetailed (though it feels like wallpaper so it is expected to be lots of icons in the other corner)

I partially agree: Lizzie is right when saying that there's "too much negative space", but on the other side those pictures are perfect for websites & co., I've witnessed dozens of web developers choosing such pictures because, in their head, those "dead spaces" are perfect to insert texts & co... So yeah, as a photographer I wouldn't have made them either, but knowing how many web developers think...🤷
