The shot of the hands at 0:31 is so beautiful. Maybe my personal experience is coming in here, but it perfectly elicits the feeling of “I am happy with this person. I can just exist with this person.” That feeling to me is love. It’s so simple. But it’s so poignant and deep. The hands and the sun and the placement and the angle and everything together creates such a stunning image. I really feel what they were in that moment. It’s a simple, relieved, and content kind of love. Beautiful.

I love these collabs with Gus Black. The MVs are sick and compliment the depth of song while also being its own painting. Lizzy your artistry is amazing. The songs, the videos, the vibes, the feels...I feel so many emotions when I listen to your music. I think I appreciate most that it feels real. Even in the pain of remembering/relating it feels soothing. To hold a space where opposite emotions can hold hands and dance, its seems more rare than it should be. Thank you for sharing your art.

It's a lovely song. Love how it all comes together. How the music supports the lyrics and the voice, instead of overpowering it, but also holds its own. The entire song feels very honest. Finneas, every time I see your name next to an artist, it's always someone unique. Someone with a voice. It's very nice. Hate to be lame guys, but I really like this song.

Her voice is just so peaceful and wholesome. I heard her first on 'Give me a Minute', a song that always moves me to tears. And the duet with Finneas is perfect.
@jewtuso35172 жыл бұрын
at first, the lines "hate to be lame, but i might love you" sounded like it came from a heart that's been considering love, might as in "hopeful". . . but then it escalated towards the end into a regretful "might" . . like "i hate to be lame but i might (didn't) love you", . .might as in "almost" but "didn't".. . 🙃

Wow! What a talent, a talent surrounded by many others. I discovered you when you appeared on Jacob Collier's channel. Since, I am happy to see that your fan base is growing at exponential speed. (And that you even embarked on a tour. It must have been exhausting). You keep releasing little jewels. This one is no exception. What I really enjoy with your songs, are the quiet passages. It becomes a rare thing to allow music and voice to just breathe. Contrast is often missing, when releasing "radio-ready" productions. It must be LOUD ALL THE TIME. My ears are fed up with that constant loudness. With your songs, we get the tense passages, but are also the quietest one. That whole dynamic range exploration is something that makes your songs stand out. On this one, the quiet duet from 2:08 on, is giving me shivers down the spine. Thank you!

Thanks to spotify to introducing me to this magical song. Yesterday I hear it for the first time and I am in love with it. Fun things is before I saw who the male singer is here I was thinking about how this song reminds me of my experience with "Ocean Eyes" and my journey with Billie. I discover her on accident when the song didn't even had 100 000,00 views and was mesmerized by it and was showing everyone who wanted to hear me out about that song and I was saying that this song and Bille deserved to be much bigger. It took some time to "Ocean Eyes" get the views and Billie somehow become megastar from such a small artist she was when I discover her. I had the same feeling listening to this song thinking if only this song could be played in more places/introduced to more people I can feel that it is so magical that it will stuck with them and they will love it. I will again talking to people about this song and Lizzy's voice. Hope her talent and good karma will make this song more known because it deserved it.
