This caused me great stress 😂 Step 9 really was a pain. The hard plastic would not come off. I had to pull both sides up slightly then proceed. It worked but left me with some air bubbles in the middle. After a few hours the air bubbles disappeared. So far I like it and I hope it lasts.

I will admit i did mess the first one up, I could not get rid of the bubbles only to find i did not let it take that layer of clear off 2:17 . After that it worked perfect . The little sticky pad you put on the desk !! I now use it to put behind my keyboard, it does not slip forward now . Double Win

Worked perfectly, the second time, messed up the first. Went on easily, with no air bubbles!! I got it because I just got a crack in my screen from dropping my phone, and now I don't feel it, thank goodness. Great product!

these are great screen protectors, but I wish they were a tiny bit shorter on top and bottom. With an otter box case it makes the screen protector lift immediately unless you trim the screen protector while placing it. Had this issue with multiple phones, two note 20 ultras, two s10+'s, and an s9+. you have to trim them if you use otter box

I watched the video many times before doing the installation and still had problems that had me messing up the first one. For all you folks that did it right with no problems, congrats. I feel that the video needs to add some clarification in steps 8 & 9. Address the fact that if you don't bend it back at a sharp angle. when removing tab 2 & 3, the piece that you are pushing off in steps 8 & 9 will not pop up and come off. Maybe it's just me, but I think discussing that would help people. Demo: easy-peasy Actual: cussing was involved.

June 2021 they do these quite differently (NO black bar! but a white piece you put into your phone to hold the plastic steady, but my phone of course still traveled, next time I'll put a few heavy books in it's place since those will be enough to keep it from moving as the black sticky did)and line 1 is MUCH Smaller, I can't say that's good because it was much harder to line up on my phone, though doable with a little patience). My tab 3 had fallen off, but I was able to work around that some, still it created quite a few bubbles. If they are still there in the morning I'll try again, or I learned eons ago a warm (NOT HOT) dryer takes care of those if it's a hard screen protector, these are cheap enough I do not mind playing with it, so long as I am very careful with the phone itself. I will say even with my issues, it still looks AMAZING with even the bubbles, again I am quite sure in the AM they'll be gone. TY TY TY for helping us. The concept in the 2021 package IS THE SAME here. UPDATE: March 2022 its time for me to change it since it kept bubbling up, but still it lasted over a year!! Nicely done LK!! This time around it came with a black plastic to lay my phone on, which kept it nice and still. My bubbles this time is only 2 very small ones. Very happy with it.

Great idea for an install. The whole point is your able to line it multiple times, as what is touching the phone isn't the protector yet. Goes on so perfect I couldn't even tell it was there until I looked closely. LG G8 thinq. Highly recommend.

Just got done. WARNING TO USERS: regarding the black foam block, when I removed the sticker off it and put it on my table, it was horribly difficult to take that sticky stuff off the table! I had to gently scrape it off the table (Table is of DuPont Corian) and use a product called Goo Gone to painstakingly remove the stuff from the table. You can manage without it; watch out! The film is correctly installed with the camera and speaker openings aligned. However, there are about 30 air bubbles scattered under the screen protector, about 1 to 2 mm size each one. I guess I'll wait one day and if they don't disappear I'll have to use the second one in the pack of three that came in the box. Yes, I did use the squeegee the best I could.

I put mine on an aluminium stool in the bathroom (less dust in the air if it's humid, hence less bubbles!) and had no problems removing it. But: The cutouts on my S10 screen protectors aren't 100% right, the camera one should be 0.5-1mm further to the left.

I ordered 3 privacy tempered glass protectors for my new 2 Samsung Galaxy s21 and for phone cameras on back . I got packaged it said for s21 Fe I know for a fact I didn't order the wrong model model number and to really make matters worse , the was a note saying I got flexible protective film instead. It also stated I might be wondering why they gave me this film instead of the tempered glass protectors I ordered They gave me 3 reasons y 1. That soft film will support fingerprints unlock .and the tempered glass would fail.??? 2 Something that it covered the black eges of screen n rainbow light will be seen witch would cause my eyes to fatigue. 3 nails keys n other objects will scratch tempered glass protectors and there film will repair it self in 24 hours . Is this True also the tempered glass protectors I ordered have fingerprints scanner support in the middle . I'm confused please help???

Wow, I was very skeptical and not expecting the foil to stick to the edges of my P30 Pro but it really worked and the video wasn't only helpful, I'd call it essential to the correct application. What is the green mesh imprint that runs through the middle of the screen protector? I think this screen protector I got is a demo or something because the 1 inch line runs over my phone's screen. As others have pointed out, it's also not the same product. The #2 tab broke off during installation and made everything much harder from there. This is a screen protector. Talk about over thinking it. Don't waste your time. As you can see, they don't care to comment on this channel.

I have tried 4 differ protectors now. This is the best one I have had so far. So many people complaining, but these instructions worked PERFECTLY for me. FIRST screen protector NOT to have edges pop up after I push them down. I don't see the middle like at all, so if you do you installed it wrong. If you were smart you would buy at least a two pack to redo it.

I messed up a little the first one. Still was able to use it for over a year, though. My mistake was that I did not lift Tab 2 properly and went pass the Film starting line. Today I did the second one and it was perfect !!! Good screen protector, sensitive and lasts a long time. I use it with Otter Defender case without problems.

thia protector is more for scratches not for falls, I recomend you to use a really good case if you keep that protector.

You really have to line it up perfectly if you have a tight fitting case. I have one of those cases that has attachment for a car mount and my goodness. The edges keeps getting pushed out. My first protector was perfect spot on. The second one just could not keep its edges stuck. After attempting the 3rd i got it perfect again but definitely not "all case" friendly it require perfection or trimming.

This was so helpful! My screen ended up only having 1 tiny bubble but that was actually my fault right at the end and it's really inconsequential to me overall. So grateful to have my screen protected fully again. It's like having a brand new phone :)

Installation was easy and I didnt get any bubbles. I thought the tabs/layer design was pretty slick since you can line it up before you actually stick it to the phone. I noticed the foam block did have strong glue, but was lucky that it didnt leave any mark on my table. Now we shall see if it holds up with my case and my kids.

Then there is definitely something you didn't do right. People often think they did all the steps right off videos like this but closely analyze every step with everything you did and im sure you will find one tiny thing different that makes a huge impact on the results.

Really helpful installation video! Step 10 is where I had a little trouble, had to re-watch it a few times. Basically you have to "feel" the screen protector covering being ready to slide out like it does in the video. It worked just fine on step 9 going towards the top, but Step 10 was a little trickier. After a few minutes I had the "ah ha!" moment, and I'm really happy with the installation. Just be patient and you'll get it done. Once you figure it out, you'll be like duh!

The video is very helpful. MUST WATCH! On step 8: you must lift the top covering sheet to " Film starting line" before using squeegee to push forward. It's easier to push forward not back at you.

This is so frustrating. The tabs break off when I try to peel them. The air bubbles come out at step 8, but my One Plus Pro is curved and the sticker doesn’t adhere to the sides. It seems the entire comment box has got it figured out, but it’s not working for me. Edit: It turns out the green-edged stickers were upside-down; removing them would just expose the sticky side to the air. But there’s no sticky-side down because both sides are protected by film. So to remove the green-edged side - and actually get it to stick to the phone - you have to lift it, carefully pry it apart (because the tabs just break off) and then lay it down by hand. Result: dust and bubbles. To all the folks saying they got it right the first time, congrats, you did well in engineering.

Warning! That black thing you're told to stick on your table leaves itself on your table when you pull it off. I did it on the kitchen work surface and even after lots of nail polish remover it's still a bit sticky.

Hmmm the hole punch on my 3 screen protectors that come in the box don’t line up and I keep getting divots and indents on my screen because the protector I think is too soft which is the reason why I already gone through the 3. Next time I would spring for I glass screen protector

I must say that I was very pleased with the quality, ease of installation and feel of this product. I had read (a couple) reviews of the difficulty others were having with this film screen protector where they needed to use up all three of the protectors before they got it right. In my case, the application was very smooth and user-friendly and went on easily the first time. Also, I will say that I prefer the film style vs the tempered glass versions. While I haven't tried LK's tempered glass version (which I certainly will give a try being how pleased I am with this product), the film works better than other brands of tempered glass I've tried. I would highly recommend LK products. The instructional videos were very well done and quite useful.

At 1st I questioned doing the foam step b/c I'm thinking surely the adhesive will ruin my desk. But then I see you do it, as I watched this twice before I did it, on your wooden desk so well maybe it's coated with something that will pull up easily since there was no warning. NOOOOO!!!! Why would you tell me & also show me on your desk, to pull the paper off the black foam, place it, & put pressure on it to stick on my desk? The adhesion stuck & pulled off my desk paint! Now I have rectangle on my desk!!!!!! Not to mention the lines that are still horizontally running across the middle of my phone screen after I did Step 9!

I really like this kit and the LK screen protector line. The S10 was super easy and I just did this on my daughters S8 with no issues. The only thing that sucked was the rubber bump stop is super sticky and it can peal up the surface its attached to, so be mindful of that.

Thank you, Yes it does seem complicated but if you do your best in a clean environment the result is better than when you pay someone to do it for you. I am very pleased with my screen protector and it quite unnoticeable, blending almost seamlessly into the screen.
