They were losing Jensen and a bunch of seniors and almost the whole coaching staff. A hint at what was to come was the guy talking to Jensen at the end of the game. An unknown freshman called Carson Wentz. The difference for this program is the culture. It doesn't rely on any specific individual but rather an attitude. There are a lot of programs that should study that rather than trying to study just the procedures on the field, which are just the results of the attitude. It makes quality players and resiliency in the program.

Fast forward to Jan 2022: Bison earn their 9th FCS Championship 38-10 over Montana State.

There were quite a few tubs of lard on the Towson lines. Figured they would run out of gas.

3rd National Championship since Appalachian State from 2005-2007.

I took time out of MAGFest to watch this. I knew Towson was gonna get rolled, of course, since it was right in the middle of NDSU’s dynasty, but I hung at a National Harbor bar until it got out of hand.

Ha, at 2:39 Anish makes a comment that "this is sort of a last hurrah for the Bison" in reference to Bohl and much of the coaching staff leaving for Wyoming after the game. If he only knew at the time how incorrect that statement would prove to be. LOL!

How was Frisco allowed to host this game with the field as bad as it was? It looks like a disgrace and you'd never see the BCS championship game played on a horseshit field like this?
@MHDBisonFan7 ай бұрын
That field was a disgrace and the NCAA should have been ashamed of that but alas all they care about is $$$$$ and they don't get enough from the FCS for them to care about it. That's why if NDSU could move up to the FBS if they got an invite to a conference I'd be 100% in favor of that (would have to be the right conference though).
@GermanShepherd19837 ай бұрын
@@MHDBisonFan I've heard the biggest obstacle to moving up is lack of initiative by the NDSU athletic director.

@@GermanShepherd1983 I can't honestly say he's been out their trying to push the NDSU Brand that's for sure. He constantly uses the excuse ( which isn't false) that they need to be invited first but I hardly believe he's done anything to position or try to NDSU so if an invite was to come that they'd be ready to make the jump and for that I do believe he's fallen way short. He's not even close to the AD that Gene Taylor was.
