Tw1 am FCS team that’s beaten every FBS team over the last 10 years and an FCS team that’s won every title besides one in that time. These FCS teams they beat constantly beat FBS schools all the time as well. Any FBS team outside of the top 10, the true top 10 teams, of the FBS are can all be beat any given day so don’t act like just because the division is lower doesn’t mean the top teams of the “lower division” aren’t that far from the next level.

I remember watching this game in our dorm lounge, Churchill Hall. We packed that tiny little room with people to watch on the big screen. When we missed the 2-pt it felt like that was it. When we got the stop on defense the tense nature of that room was something incredible. When Cam lined up for that kick the nervous energy in that room could've powered all of North Dakota. And whenhe hitthat field goal it was pure insanity on our part. And in true NDSU fashion, the parties later that night just off campus were fucking insane. Just an incredible weekend and easily one of my favorite moments at NDSU.

Pro Sports Central Only a dumbass would flame someone for losing to NDSU. North Dakota State is so good to the point, I'm not even surprised if they win against another FBS team. Any of the Dakota schools could do good at the FBS level, especially North Dakota State and South Dakota State. Only an uninformed jackass would joke about someone losing to them just because they just so happen to be a FCS school. Being a FCS school doesn't automatically make a school inferior to all FBS teams. Yes, they do have the scholarship disadvantage being an FCS school but NDSU could whoop a great number of FBS schools on any given day and they have despite that disadvantage.

It's fun to watch a ND State play against FBS competition. Yeah, I would like to see them in a matchup with a top SEC team, even though I know there is good chance it would not go well. I think the gap between FCS and FBS has closed somewhat, but FCS not gonna make a living playing top FBS teams. But, it is fun to see them compete. Just the fact the Citadel played Alabama to a 10-10 halftime score was exciting. We all knew the Tide would roll in the second half but it was still fun.

In 2011, Geogia Southern went to Bama and lost by 24. A month later they went to NDSU and lost by 28. NDSU and Bama were National Champs that year. Will Hedges This game was likely scheduled between the athletic directors like 5 years before it was played, before the Bison became a household name in the FCS. And it really hurt Iowa to lose this game. The next week the Bison received more votes in the AP poll than the Hawkeyes did.
