Good Morning Sir! I owned the big brother X-Trail in 2017 and I was very happy with it. The only disappointment was the entertainment system which always looked dated.

Thank you, sir! That's right, even on this facelifted Qashqai, the infotainment does seem a bit dated for 2020.

Hello Joseph , The extra switches you can get on the driver side below the steering wheel are for ejector seats option !

If only that were true, sir.

Sir - what a boon for the Sunderland factory that these are so popular in the UK. A great thing to see.

They seem to satisfy the needs of a lot of buyers, sir.

I feel drawn to the 1.6 with 160 bhp or either of the 1.3s because even a power figure of 138 bhp is equivalent to a 1979 Ford Capri 3.0 S and it was pretty quick Mr Bodie. The interior and equipment of this Techna model seems very good indeed and it does seem to have that Discovery/Range Rover Command driving position which I like having driven many many Ford Transits and Land Rover Discoverys. I like the fact that it is built in Sunderland. I confess that I was not in favour of replacing the fine Primera with a higher SUV style vehicle but Nissan has proved that its decision was correct.

Yes, avoid the 1.2 and the CVT gearboxes if you want dependability in a J11 Qashqai (as Mr Coleman and I were discussing the other day). This one, with its 1.3 engine and six speed manual, should be much better in terms of reliability. Very highly equipped, but I can't help thinking that I would probably recommend an MG ZS or HS over one of these, with the seven year warranty.

Enjoyed my J10 Qashqai when i had mine was a great car, so looks like the J11 takes it further and makes it so much better. A excellent review as always Sir.

This late example is very different from the early J11s, which are the ones currently available within the budget, but they look so much better than the pre-facelift models, and they mostly don't have the problematic 1.2 engine. I have heard really bad things about the CVT gearboxes too....

Ah yes, the (in)famous "lower-than-basic" SUV. Ours is 2019, back in the days we had 2014 one (UK assembled). That first one was problematic as hell (2 CVTs broken, paint issues, creaky plastic).
@lloydvehicleconsulting9 ай бұрын
Yes, the pre-facelift cars have proven to be quite problematic, unfortunately, especially the ones with the 1.2 engine and the CVT gearboxes. Sorry to hear that yours was bad as well, British manufacturing clearly still has its issues.

@@lloydvehicleconsulting well, ours was 1.8l petrol - not sure about 1.2l or diesels avialable in Russia. Our specs were qiute different too - very few cars w/manual gearboxes or 1.4 engines, still those cars had fabric seats, no sunroofs or driver assistants (like automatic parking).

It's often the case that Russian market cars have completely different engines, trim levels, and sometimes even styling, from what I understand...
@runoflife879 ай бұрын
@@lloydvehicleconsulting yep, that happened pretty often. All cars sold there also had so-called "winter pack".
@lloydvehicleconsulting9 ай бұрын
Probably need that winter pack, don't you?
