I recently Bought one of these in a 20 gauge. Sharp looking and well handling shotgun. Bought it mainly for shooting skeet. I don’t get to shoot very often so I was pleasantly surprised to shoot a perfect round of skeet the first time I shot it. If you’re looking for a classy smooth shooting shotgun this is it. I have the standard Ethos in wood in the 12 gauge and I prefer this gun over it.

I love Benelli in terms of quality, reliability and ease of cleaning as you mentioned. I had 2 Benellis, a Benelli Legacy that I still have and absolutely love and a Benelli Córdoba that I absolutely hated. The legacy is a very well balanced gun. The cordoba was very light and I missed a lot with it. Tried doing all adjustment and changing cheek pads and all but nothing fixed it. Although I always admired it as a gun I hated it as “my” gun and ended up selling it…. Too light doesn’t do it for me. I know some people love light guns but I’m not one of them. Great vid though! Keep’em coming

Lloyd, great review as always. I have owned a Benelli Super Black Eagle 2 for several years. Owned the first generation Black Eagle 1 when it first hit the US market, and always found the Benelli to shoot very soft, shoots all loads without any hiccups, and so easy to maintain, clean, and take care of. The shims that are supplied with each gun, makes for easy fit to your face, along with the interchangeable rubber comb on this model. Thanks Lloyd. Keep up the great work sir. Rob in Missouri, USA.

I just picked one up in 20 guage. I think they had the wrong price of $1690 USD, so I snatched it right up. I think their price was for the previous gen supersport.

Another good review.. I have the the Raf super sport and the Ethos BEST for rainy day shooting bought the Briley forearm weight to slow the gun down… I enjoy both guns

Benelli , oh yes . Got a 828U 30 inch game gun and looking to get a semi to replace my Franchi Brescia inertia Auto 5 lookalike which fits me like a glove and shoots well , maybe a Ethos

Hey Lloyd I just got me Benelli ethos Performance Shop super sport 12 gauge 30' barrel I see you done a Review on both the Raffaello super sport and the Ethos super sport which one is the better model besides one having a Carbon fiber rib just wants to know which one shot better

Always great videos my preference with autos for me are gas operated like your review of the A400 Xtreme Plus but I do have a SX3 and A Hatsan Magnum yes they have problems with some carts but I just like the economics of the gun where are the SX3 for me is just to skinny.Thinking of the Beretta A400 but the New sport will be worth a try.Keep up the good work. strange how you cannot make a comment these days on KZbin using a VPN?

Thanks for the review. After being around a friend that has a ported shotgun, I make an effort to be behind the centerline of the gun. Makes me wonder why anything is still produced with ports.

I have a ,Supersport, has never malfunctioned and I use it for bird control on huge vineyard and farms,that carbon wrap is not very durable over hard use,nearing harvest on various crops I may shoot three to four hundred rounds a day.

@@lloydyp Birds damage can be 10 percent or more in cherries and grapes,starlings and other non native birds,started using air rifles but you cannot replace shotgun for depredation and shells are written off for taxes.we have thousands of doves and Supersport is light and fast,superb dove gun.
