Truly chilling change, impossible work made gorgeous exhibit of restoration work. Even i dont like modernization of house i understand it when it has to be kept going on as living house, and for display. I would live there in original state, time tripping, and have solar panes and own well, so it is independent like in history. Light electric installations to couple of rooms, nowdays is able to get such electric systems that it doesn't require permanent installations.

It's really concerning that gambling is not only promoted but validated and encouraged through projects like this.

Being a pessimist, I can only hope efforts like this would encourage other corporate / organisations to take up the cause of saving national heritage.

@@zachtbh Legalized gambling is a tax on people who can't afford to gamble. Politicians who promote gambling as a way to fund these restoration projects are a disgrace.
