I used SDD in engineering mode to turn the warning off. Problem solved forever, and no risk of destroying my hinges if i hit a badger.

You mean disabling the pedestrian sensor itself?

@@toffeepie1878 No the system is still present, you're turning off the warning so if it is broken you don't know about it.

I never removed the bumper... you might be able to also leave the headlights in place, it is a matter of figure it out as you go along... I don't remember all the tiny details now... sorry...

Nice Luis. Second hand sensors??? People have to get their priorities straight. Why do most people have a problem spending money on their car , which is a necessity , but not with wasting money on hobbies and stuff they want but not actually need?? I guess I am getting OLD. 🤥

Its a common problem on early cars. You only need to remove the under tray and then you have easy access to both.

As I said on the video... was a reason why I did not removed the under tray... 👍👍👍

It took me 5 hours to re fit the under tray on my 2009 XKRS, at least a day to remove it. There's about 2 billion bolts and Chimney nuts holding that on, mostly rusted through. Jaguar never wanted people to get under that car
