Drove a 98 same color for ten years first truck and had chrome rocker panel on mine and chrome just door handle not the housing looks great brings back good memories seeing earl

Earl looks so good with those wheels!! I have the twin except 4x4 with burgundy leather. I’ve had it a year & replaced everything on the outside with new OEM parts & love it. I recently put 20x12’s with 33x12.50. You mentioned missing some chrome, I have the stainless trim from the side molding down & it blends with the bumper lines & no rock chips!! Keep up the content & Happy New Year!!

May be too much chrome for some folks, but from a distance it kinda blends in with the color but no rock chips & looks super clean. The white OBS u had is what got me into finding a clean one to restore. I lucked up & found an almost mint rust free one in Nashville. I also put 2018 emblems on mine to freshen it up. Itz a GMC Sierra instead of Silverado

I had a 97 Silverado 5.7l extra cab new from the dealer threw some Drïv (MHT) Octanes 5x5 which at that time where hard to find with some Toyo proxes and right away rubbing issues and no I turned man I miss that truck color matched mirrors and door handles silver in color with grey interior Pioneer Premier sound system Cat driving lights in the bumper late 90's early 00's before. Your truck kinda reminds me of mines(everythingspecially when driving and watching your reflection)I always wanted to level the front end. I am getting the OBS bug again but a crew cab short bed might be a better fit now in days for us. There was alot of shops around town at the time and wheel builders Boyds, Intro, Budnik, Mahhods, Classics by Brent, Chisholm, CGS and Sporters. So Cal inovators

That thing is sexy , I’m finna do a build on my 2019 GMC Sierra bit by bit and hopefully get it all documented for KZbin got a 2.5 motofab leveling kit on the way and I got a mbrp muffler bypass and a mbrp 4x10 polished stainless rolled end exhaust tip on the way ! Can’t wait to get out them on ! Trying to decide on 22s or 24s probably get the hard rock affliction in 22s and probably 35in gladiator mts

Might I recommend a Dewalt electric grinder... itll make cutting that kinda stuff go a little quicker. I tried using an air grinder to cut the tack welds on the box side of my 85... yeah wasn't cutting it. LITERALLY.

You said it drives good with 35s… Did you re-gear the diffs? Stock on 1500s was 3.42/3.43 unless it was optioned for higher. 35s usually get 4.56. The drive quality won’t be hampered, rather the MPG with bigger tires. I have 33s and should re-gear to 4.11 to get back some MPG. Did you do that? Or are you roughing it with 35s?
