Why does Canada need any immigrant workers at this time when the unemployment rate is roughly 7% moreover there are millions of Canadian citizens that are work ready to enter the market and to add the age group of 16-20 Canadian born students ready to work at the starter jobs .. Canadian policy should simple read “Hire Canadian Citizens first” the local Canada government community business must make proof available that there is lack of workers to fill in positions to allow and hire overseas workers

Bhaji, I spent 8 years in Australia. Canada is exactly doing the same as Australia does. But Australia is following this from many years. Australia immigration get all the data of employer business. How many employees are working. Job add. How much is paying to other employees. How many Australia citizens are working on business. Morover, immigration check business anytime without informing employers.

@JC-tb1qx there is so much fraud with the Canadian LMIA program that it is destroying the Canadian system. The government is waking up to the scam but they are so incompetent it will take them awhile to figure out what to do. Canadian government makes it so easy for Indians to take advantage of the LMIA program and immigration in general. Canada is a mess.
