At around 5:50 you say that you can't change the pitch of a note in the bassline editor. But just a tip, you can. You can do that by dragging the white square to a different note. Nice vids, keep it up!

Reverb is a pretty easy way. You could also use automation. It would sound better, but take much longer

I have an idea for a completely new genre of heavy music that uses rhythmic based instrumentation, but isn't rap rock/rapcore/rapmetal/numetal. Part of it involves using the instruments in a way that goes against conventional instrument play or position. The only issue is that I want to use LMMS to get the idea "on paper" before I commit to actually getting the instruments. No distorted guitar or electric bass makes doing this difficult.

Single click should bring up settings, double click should change name. Maybe its appearing off screen or behind another window?

This is just the the default theme for the latest beta version of LMMS.

Linux MultiMedia Studio on Windows and Manual tells me i have to install WINE to use dll files to run VST's on LMMS Linux 1.2.1. But I have what I'm assuming as VST Plugins like Monstro nescaline SID etc etc working fine. But I don't have WINE installed. I confused I must search VST on linux in YT again

Wine is a Linux program. If you are already running Windows, you can use dlls files without the need for wine.

Good question. I read through the LMMS license and docs, and as I understand it, yes, you can create derivative work using these instruments and samples for any use, including commercial.

I Keep getting a clicking Or Popping sounds when i use the base 808 samples Or just normal sounds like the flute from instruments, Does anybody know why? i think it has something to do with the CPU & pitch possibly..
