Load large stack high-resolution TIFF, JPEG, or PNG image stack as 3D volume

Using latest 3D Slicer and SlicerMorph extension's ImageStacks module you can load a large image stack as 3D volume in low resolution in a few seconds, then define 3D region of interest, and load only the relevant part of the volume in half or full resolution.

Thanks for the video, it's very useful! It immediately understood how to import my large image stack in a laptop with limited RAM. Is it possible to perform the same operation via Python script? I was thinking of a function where we could set the filename pattern and other parameters like spacing and quality. Unfortunately, the SlicerMorph documentation does not mention the possibility to use the module in Python scripts.

This is already a Python script. You don't have to use the GUI, but you can use the logic class from another Python script. Ask further questions on the Slicer forum (discourse.slicer.org).
