I'm from New England and have lived in Texas for many years! Back home we have New England Boiled Dinner. But the next day? It's Hash! Ham, cabbage , carrots, potatoes, all melded together good! I'm going to make this for my daughter in law. She will love it

Ohhh, so many things to say! First off, praise God for helping your sister. That's the best news I've had all day and I pray she continues to improve and feels His loving presence all around her. Thank You, Jesus! 🙌🏻Secondly, this meal looks SO GOOD and will be ANOTHER one I make. Ya know, I make fried taters, onions, red bell peppers with polska kielbasa, and it never occurred to me that I could add onto it and add cabbage and bacon and switch out the kielbasa for 'lil smokies. Oh, I can just taste it, thank you! And third, you have no idea how glad I am you got your package. Everyone else I've sent packages to (to Kansas and Missouri) are winding up in New York and Iowa (??) or are WAAAAAY late, and my car is smoking (oil gasket leak), and my dog had an emergency yesterday at the vet, and so I was feeling kinda down today... a little bit of a pity-party, which does not align with my faith, and then to come on here and see that you got your package, and that your sister is doing better, it just made me SO HAPPY! YOU make me happy and remind me to count my blessings and just keep trusting God to help me. And I picked the colors of those beads for the earrings JUST FOR YOU... "Tallie-Faye, I've noticed, likes pink and orange and turquoise colors, so that's what I'm gonna use!" And I'm so glad you like Tiger Sauce as well! You're right; it'd be great on this wonderful recipe you shared tonight! I love ya, and you stay blessed, and would pray for me, too? The prayers of a righteous man (or woman!) availeth much! 😉❤

Ms. Talli, sorry I forgot to mention the good news in the last few months. About 3 or 4 months ago, I was at my lowest weight when I was sick at about 142 lbs. Now just the other day I weighed in at 190, which is about normal for my height. And I’m stronger now with more energy. God is GOOD! 😊

I bought a head of cabbage at the store 3 or 4 days ago and a pack of wieners and that's what I'm frying up for our supper tomorrow night! I'll be sure to fry up some potatoes to go with it like you did! My mom always added a little sugar to fried cabbage, so that's what I do now too, just like mom did! My son and I love fried cabbage. Love this Food. You Cook like the food I grew up on. I’m gonna try this version. It’s different from regular skillet fried cabbage w/onions….which I totally love with smoked sausage too. The first video we watched, you mentioned growing up eating beans, taters, and cornbread. So did we and still eat that often. I make my cornbread just like my grandma and aunts taught me, cornmeal, egg, whole buttermilk, and baked in a cast iron skillet greased w a little lard. I don't measure either I just eye ball it
