Great review, spot on !!! You nailed it in your comments. My first ride on my Dad Bods was my commute route where I knew every single gap, crack, lip, etc so I could compare with my Evolve 97's. Definitely a smoother more planted ride. They just feel like a step above. Also rode on a bit of grass no problem.

Thank you for watching! Glad you agree! They proide a very smooth and predictable experience that is not true for much smaller wheels.

Thanks for the detailed review. I'm tempted to pull the trigger on these but 80a duro is for sliding. 74a and I'll be in. Need grip when I rip!

I hope they release a softer one in the future too! Maybe a blue softer one, that would be dope

Waiting fot the TB 110mm review! love your videos so far!
@RBEMotion Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching man! Lots more on the horizon. I have already rated the TB110's and they're quite an old wheel so I don't think I'll be doing a full review on them, however I may show them off for comparison in some future wheel review videos.

Nice Video dude, thanks, i just got one but have not installed them. What kind of lights are you using on this board? I can't figure out what they are.
@RBEMotion Жыл бұрын
Thank you! The lights on this board are a completely custom setup, one off. I do sell lights at pevcomponents.com but they're quite different when compared to these.

Thanks for the video. You do an excellent job. Do you have an ETA on the full review for these?

Thanks mate - I'm working through a backlog of stuff, and riding whenever it's not raining. I'm at about 85 miles on these out of 100, so I'd expect the review to come out in... April? Based on my current schedule

Which trucks and mounts are used in the board?
@RBEMotion Жыл бұрын
They're from Boardnamics, great machined stuff. Weird that it broke but I've ridden this board for years
@Mikenopolis Жыл бұрын
Kevin's mounts? How many miles and abuse has it taken?
@RBEMotion Жыл бұрын
Yep, they're old Boardnamics stuff from 2018. They've taken around 2k miles of abuse lol, pretty tough life for them, on a drop through reverse mount board

What brand motor mounts do you have?
@RBEMotion Жыл бұрын
They're super old Boardnamics ones, probably over 2000 miles on them.

Daing Bro, that looked scary lol. Too many holes make for lots of weak spots. Enjoyed the Video lots. Keep them coming Bro.
@RBEMotion Жыл бұрын
Yeah I mean they worked fine for like 2000 miles so I'm not too hurt about it haha, fortunately I noticed it before anything bad happened

Nice front lights, what one are those?
@RBEMotion Жыл бұрын
They're a custom setup that I made for this board a long time ago! Work pretty well, and I control them with my remote.

Aye, I just realized your test route in this vid is my old biking route, lol. I've been wondering how eskate brakes fare against that big hill at the end.
@RBEMotion Жыл бұрын
Ayyy! Yeah man the brakes do just fine on that hill, it's not as steep as some of the other ones that I encounter on my work commute. Gotta keep an eagle eye on the road to look out for all kinds of things, usually it's quite dirty.

How would these compare to the range of hallow wheels? Since the hallow wheels are lighter right?
@RBEMotion Жыл бұрын
The hollow wheels pro had less range than these, due to how much they flex and the softness of the material in general. These Dadbods are the most efficient wheel I've tested thus far

Have you noticed the pulley not sitting flush in the wheel and have a tin bit of play or just my meepo bought pulley is shit?
@RBEMotion Жыл бұрын
I'm using Boardnamics metal ones, and the fitment is pretty much perfect. Maybe th Meepo one has slightly smaller diameter pegs?

⚡ *As much as I love their Blue 77a thane,* daaamn do they look good in Orange. ⚡ I actually didn't know they released press photos 2 years ago, I'm glad I missed it, would have driven my wiiiild waitin for them 😂 Comparin these to Mad 105s is the ideal comparison for me, not just cos of the exact size but more that they are bigger wheels that are lighter than expected. They are wider than the Mads and I love Otang's happy thane so I really want a set 😂 Ooo they are more "efficient" than Mad 105s by a noticeable margin, nice! If/when they release these in 77a I'm coppin! If not I will wait and see about these 80a cos I LOVE my 77a Cags. 80a will chunk less than 77a so it's defo somethin worth considerin.
@RBEMotion Жыл бұрын
I agree I love the blue look to, I hope they come out with a softer set one day! Yeah there were some photos floating around for a while, and a year ago they had a pic of them in one of their email ads. Yeah Mads are still fighting hard for my #1 place, I think I'd pick the Mads for most of my roads around me. Better vibration absorption since they've got those voids. I would also expect these to be a bit more efficient, so there are definitely some tradeoffs. Looking forward to putting more miles on them!
