I load my broken skid steer into a dump trailer & take it 200 miles to my favorite dealer. Then do a shop tour.

I totally agree with developing and maintaining a rapport with your favorite dealer. When you buy a piece of equipment from an independent dealer, you're not just buying a piece of equipment but the dealer as well. They will always take care of their customers. This is why I steer people away from buying mowers at big box, you don't get service after the sale with big box.

Here is a crazy idea for you. either use a label maker or a marker/ paint pen to write on the cover "remove safety chain before lifting trailer". You have to lift the cover to get to the control so it is a natural place to mark it. Great video, especially about the importance about a great dealer relationship.

We bought the toro swivel buggy last week. It was a pretty big purchase for us but we plan on using it for concrete pouring and to haul material between fences. We live in northeast Jersey so there are a lot of tight areas here. The best thing about this machine IMO is it’s FAST!! The controls are really comfortable for people with big hands, not so much for people with small hands. Also has an auto return feature for the bucket. So with one click it goes down automatically, the swivel doesn’t have the auto return feature though. I can’t say much other than those 3 things since we got it last week but we rented it before so I have some idea. Also Stan I’ve been watching you since sophomore year high school now I’m a junior in college studying Civil Engineering. I just want to say thanks, you’ve been a big motivation to me throughout the years. I love building retaining walls and paver patios so watching your retaining wall videos and your paver patio videos back then was what eventually lead me to study civil engineering, long story. Sorry for the ramble but thank you for all you do Stan!

On the toro mud buggy, they rock front on back a ton and have a very jerky ride, the controls are easy to learn and work with but they aren’t that precise. It’s also pretty loud but great for hauling concrete to a backyard that’s what I use my 7 of them for. Overall a great machine and toro definitely has the best one out there. Thanks Stan, another really great episode! Before I got operating scoop trams, I operated Kubota KH41 mini excavators underground digging railway track drainage ditches to keep the railway track from deterioting which was an ongoing problem. No ROPS on them as tight clearances that you had to constantly work the machine in, all the muck was loaded in 5 ton 24" gauged ore cars pulled by a 6 ton battery powered locomotive to the nearest ore pass to dump the slimes and muck out. I did this job for over 5 years, and I really loved it, but the money wasn't there, so that's when I switched over to mucking with scoop trams where the money was over double of what I made operating mini excavators, and the rest is the rest is history till my retirement when a stroke ended my mining career,
