They selling the old older models. The one I just ordered is not shiny black it's more like a blueish steel color and not shiny. But still works good.

That's nice I like the clear back so you can see how many rounds you have left. That's the best thing since they put a window on the AR mags.

Only problem is that it doesn't fit in my SKS-D or M models. The feed tower is too short to fully reach up and latch into place. It does work flawlessly in my AKMs.

What happens if you don't shoot it and want to release the spring tension while it's full of rounds? Is that possible? Do you just open it up and depress the centre button, or will that romove your fingers?!! Thanks

Just depress the center button, you will hear the spring un-tension. When you want to use it just wined the spring back up.

Hey quick question, Is it okay to leave ammo inside the drum over a long period of time? I know that for some 30rd the spring will mess up.

I think you were 1 short at the end because you loaded 76 rounds. Is this actually a 76 round drum?

Jordan no, it’s not technically designed to hold 76, you can load 76, but that tends to cause minor issues.

I just bought this drum for my micro Draco and it will not lock into the gun! Is it not compatible with it?

It should, but if it doesn't you should have a gunsmith look at it.

it holds 76 rounds. i wonder if it hangs up on the last round when 76 is loaded. you got 3 in the neck, 10 spots with 6 rounds, 9 with 1 round and 4 in the follower spot = 76

Be very careful if you are depressing the spring tension button. If it is wound and your finger catches the pin just below, you will have a nasty laceration. Drum Thumb 😮
