@@piterkson4344 At that rate, a PS5 Pro isn't going to be good value. PS5 GPU is probably comparable to a 2070. Because of console optimizations, it really shouldn't have a hard time playing games at 4K60 with some lowered settings here and there. My advice to anyone. Get the PS5, and start building towards getting a PC because all Xbox exclusive games will be available on Windows.

Too bad this Remake/Remaster is not respectful towards the original game though. Did you saw all the changes to NPCs, places/areas and enemies BP made? Maneaters look like the Frankenstein monster, the gargoyles instead of having those faces that look like they are in pain, they just look like some cartoonish demon, the Flamelurker looks like a generic demon and his area was changed in way that looks like is from Diablo 3 or Darksiders. Vanguard too looks like something from Diablo 3 / Darksiders.. The voice/audio of the False King is ridiculous. Instead of just improving the lighting, textures and adding new effects and some QoL stuff, they changed the identity of the monsters, the areas, the NPCs, it's bad.

This game is a remaster, and a proper remaster for once instead of the many remasters that are just very slightly upgrading the graphics, though certainly the improvements are not technically improvements from an objective viewpoint as it is impossible to objectively improve things like the atmosphere or graphics. This game is *also* a remake. The two terms are not mutually exclusive. A more accurate name for what people call remakes in the game industry like the ff7 game is re-imagining.

There is one and it's called dragon's dogma lol. Almost every story and all the art is ripped from the berserk manga (Kentaro Miura helped in making the game). Sadly it came out only a couple months after Dark Souls 1 and it was never really recognized.

A magic build with very little magic. Sage Freke was left to rot in his cell. Magic builds can be so op that even False King dies almost instantly to 1 of the attacks. Though that would make for boring veiwing.

In the original Demon's Souls I remember that they were much more aggressive and in Lobos's playthroughs he would often get wrecked by them. They would start rolling at him as soon as they got line of sight and sometimes Lobos would get stuck in a corner and stunlocked to death.

First time I played demon's souls, I HATED IT, I didn't understand the stamina system and invested in the wrong stats and didn't understand that there were invincibility frames during rolls. I played until I unlocked the boss not understanding that there were shortcuts and quit. Then VatiiVidia popped up on my recommendation page and everything changed with his demon's souls lore videos. I fell in love with the game and then dark souls came out and I found Lobosjr and he honestly carried me through the series and I've never had more fun with a series since

I'm sure this is a topic of contention for a lot of people, but I absolutely love the new theme for the Maiden Astraea fight. The original is undoubtedly in my mental Hall of Fame for game soundtracks, so I can definitely see how people might not like the new rendition since it strays so much and kinda does its own thing. Personally, I would have been disappointed if nothing was done to it because I have come to love and expect the musical shifts that accompany the context of moment-to-moment gameplay of later Soulsborne boss fights. My favorite example of these kinds of shifts is Dark Souls 3's fight with the Soul of Cinder, and how it shifts into Gwyn's theme during the second phase. Tonally I feel that the new track is much more of a theme for her and Garl Vinland than the original. During the more intense part of the track when fighting Garl, I get vibes of reluctance and desperation that complement his dialogue, yet there's a drum that kicks in underneath at 6:42:47 that makes me think of duty, almost as if to say "I gave you a chance, now I will do what I must". And, well, the rest of it, the singing after Garl's death as you walk up to Astraea, is just really fucking sad and emotional. Especially, I imagine, to veteran players who know what's coming.

Demon's Souls went from being a somewhat schlocky Dark Souls beta to being one of my favorites up there with Bloodborne and Sekiro This game feels so good to play even if it's chassis are a bit out dated

I feel that the music kept cutting out during bosses. Astraea's was barely audible though the paino main-riff as she died was rather haunting.
