My natural locs on the ends it’s curly. I can’t wait until my hair grows out so I can cut them if they don’t fuse. I detangle sometimes because the lint is so noticeable in the curls and I have to detangle to get the lint out! In one more year I’ll most likely cut them all off. I like the look but the maintenance is annoying!

I’ve been waiting for this video! Have you experienced thinning? Some of my locs thin out so I just use the crochet needle to thicken them up again but I’m just hoping it doesn’t stunt the locking process at the roots. Also I recently dyed my hair (I installed the locs in February) and I love it! Love your videos!! Please keep us updated ❤ Also can I wash my hair in the loc bob style? I did about 2 weeks ago and I really want to keep it in but it’s gotten flaky, I think because of the gel.

Are you referring to slipping? the loc extensions separating for your natural hair? Or thin spots in your hair? Its common for the loc extensions to slip and you can tighten them with the crochet needle. But its going to take months for locs to fully mature, so sometimes they will look thin or flatten but will eventually thicken up overtime.

Your locs are gorgeous! I ended up ordering from the same company. Did you find that the locs get smaller/shrink overtime & shed?

Hey girl, I have the same locs as her and from my experience they do not shed. The only part that will shed will be the ends from when I brush them out to maintain them but besides that, the hair itself doesn’t shed
