love it! I wear my locs in two strand twists all the time sometimes for weeks at a time and I've even washed it with the twists in to try and avoid having to retwist...works ok, but your hair looks lovely!

I sooo love this style and you make it look so easy...God willing, I'm going to try the 2-strand twist this weekend. This is especially convenient to wear for my workouts. I did plaits with 6 strands this week and it looks nice, and works for exercising, but i much prefer the twists. Thanks!

Chesca!!! :D I love your videos! You were a huge influence in me getting locs. I don't know if you remember but you responded to one of my messages a loooong time ago--how my mom was very against me getting them and didn't think I could still be "professional" with locs. Anyway, it's been 4 years and I'm still going strong. :) I do have one question though, how do you stop locs from thinning? I retwist about once a month or month and a half, and I don't use anything in my hair. Only shampoo when I'm washing. Love your posts on Upworthy, btw. :D

thanks! the necklace is from a boutique in Delray Beach. I asked the store owner if the designer had a card and she said the girl only sells to a hand full of shops and doesn't sell online. It was so weird because I'd have no problem promoting where I bought it, but she seemed kinda bothered that I even asked.

hey chesca, i reaaaaaally want to loc up, but i'm scared of potential draw back in the work place. what's your experience with that been? i plan on either becoming a teacher or a psychologist (more than the likely the second) and i hope my hair being in locs won't deter from that. Any advice? (also, i plan on keeping it neat, my mother specializes in dread/loc styles and such)

Have u always palm rolled your hair to get long beautiful locks like that. Or have u used latch hook at some point just wondering because I've had locks for a year and 7 months and when I was my hair I have alot of new growth and my hair is taking very long to lock my hair is thick. Is this normal
