She has locs not braids. I do not even know how to formulate the answer lol. The same way you wash your loose hair is the way you wash your locs. For the itching though I recommend tea tree oil. I haven't had braids in a long while but tea tree oil is known to help maintain a clean scalp therefore should help with the itch 😊
