I'm getting sisterlocs with pwrmed ends. I have 11 inches of hair with 3 inches of natural. I don't wanna lose my length because i think i would look weird. Well my head anyway but if it will help my loc journey that would be my best option right?

If your hair is low density, is it better to get larger locs or smaller locs?

I think I've heard her say small but not too small is best, if you're seeking fullness. Too small is anything less than 1/4 of an inch

Yes, you want to avoid too small and the size will based on density.

Yes, absolutely. Just make sure to braid and band if you're newly locd. And if you sweat a lot, braid your hair down during a workout

Sisterlocks and most microlocs use the interlocking technique. So there's no difference in the process, technique. The difference is in the size you want. The curl pattern doesn't affect which one you go with

I am scheduled to get sisterlocs in June. What is the amount of locs recommended or average.? Is it true too many locs (500-700 plus) lead to thinner locs making the locs weaker?

It all depends on the individual's hair. Someone with fine, low density hair won't have enough hair to achieve 500-700 locs on their head. So if someone puts locs that are too small for what your density can handle, yes breakage is in that person's future

I wanted to have a even consistent grid pattern which I feel will make it easier for me to retighten my new growth and increase the number of loc’s so I grew out my new growth to 2 inches and cut off my loc’s to reattach them myself after the locticion parts my hair and interlocks the 2 inches of new growth. My question is can I just have the locticion to part and clip my hair only so that I can use my 0.35 mm crochet needle to reattach the loc’s myself? This isn’t considered rude to the locticion is it?🤔

For installs, yes. If a client wants me to wash and detangle, that appt has to be on another day because I'm not going to wash, detangle and then spend 12+ hours installing the same day.
