Thank you both for this video. I'm at a point in my 5 year Sisterlock journey that I am loosing locs at the ROOTS!!! I'm really contemplating a BIG CHOP and just slowly lock up again later...... Life and surgeries have caused SO MUCH hair breakage and stress just seems to be getting the best of me........

I know about that hair loss from stress. Mine happened while I was a loose natural and it would fall out in full-length clumps. It took me a good long while before I figured out it was from my job 😟. It took leaving that job to find my peace 😔. Currently locked and loving it!☺

Yes, stress will do a number on your hair. And it's crazy how the hair falls out in patches. So glad you were able to figure that out and you eventually found your peace.

Yes of course! I used Pravana 7.46 Copper Red Blonde. I did bleach/lightened her hair before applying. This color maybe achieve without lightening, using a 30dev if your hair is virgin (no previous color) and hair color is brown (not jet black).

Yess so true I had 11yr custody matter that just mentally and physically drained me..but I'm the type of person who internalize my stress it never showed in my actions..but so as thing came to and end , then my hair and skin took a hit!!

So true! I lost the top of my head my locs became stringy and thin and scalpy ..then me worrying about caused more stress so 3to 4yrs of back to back stress. 😒
