There are specialized machines called deshelling machines which seperate the shell from the nut. This removes the need to use the clay and water method for separation which takes too much time. Also, once the chaff is burned into ash, the ash can be turned into lye for soap making. The ash has potassium and other minerals which is good for fruit bearing plant therefore could be sold as an agricultural amendment. These suggestions signify more money.

@@kemij2375Yes, the shell of kernel, and the fiber from the pulp known as chaff are burned. This ash is further processed to make lye. Afterwards, lye is mixed with palm kernel oil to make soap.

Palm kernel oil doesn't taste good anymore because they have spoilt the process of making it. They allow the kernel to decay and when that happens the oil doesn't taste good.
