However, if he just gets 5% nationally then it establishes them as an official political party (federally) toward the next election. This means it will be harder to suppress them in the media and they also get other advantages like federal funds the next time around. It is basically the best chess move one can play in his position. Hope that helps. Also there is a chance if the electoral votes are split down the middle that he can actually become elected president. At least that scenario is more likely than him winning states 😉. Keep in mind that his primary goal of preventing the DNC from obtaining power is still preserved with this move. And if all Trump voters in obvious BLUE states would vote RFK it would return the favor and also benefit third parties overall with no consequence.
