Today I'm going to take you with me on an epic street food tour in Istanbul, Turkey.
To start our street food tour, I went to a very local shop to have breakfast. I had Mercimek Çorbası and pilav with some chicken, potatoes, and veggies.
Safran Güveç Ve Börek : Şemsipaşa, Cengiz Topel Cd. 10/B, 34250 Küçükköy - Gaziosmanpaşa/Gaziosmanpaşa/İstanbul
To continue our street food tour, I went to a local shop where they make Yufka and Manti and we had the pleasure to witness a part of the preparation.
Yetkin Yufka & Manti: Yıldırım, Avasköy Yolu Cd. No:24, 34040 Bayrampaşa/İstanbul
For lunch, I had the epic Hatay Doner. Crazy spicy marinated chicken doner finished with a delicious tomato sauce and super hot chili powder. This is one the best type of doner in Turkey.
HATAY DÖNER EVI: Şemsipaşa, 34, 34250 Gaziosmanpaşa/TR
To continue our epic street food tour in Istanbul, Turkey, I stumbled upon a beautiful-looking boutique butcher making the best Sucuk in Turkey.
After chatting with the owner, talking about the history of the shop, we got invited to witness the entire preparation of the epic Akman Sucuk. The owner is the King of Sucuk in Turkey.
Akman Fermente Sucuk: Şemsipaşa, Cengiz Topel Cd. 88/2, 34100 Gaziosmanpaşa/İstanbul
To end our street food tour in Istanbul, Turkey, I went to eat an epic Kokoreç.
We witness the entire cooking process of it, and also tried some sausage sandwiches and some incredibly fresh Midye Dolma. What an epic end of our street food tour in the beautiful city of Istanbul, Turkey.
Rüya Kokoreç: Yıldırım, Şht. Kamil Balkan Cd. 40 A, 34045 Bayrampaşa/İstanbul
