To all outsiders viewing this, NALC which is the letter carriers unions negotiated a contract that has a 1.3% raise, keep in mind that the starting wage for a letter carrier (CCA) is around $19 an hour, some places minimum wage is higher than that. On top of it CCA positions are 6-7 days a week anywhere from 2 hours to 60 hours with no benefits, no retirement plan and a very basic health plan after 90 days, the position is god awful. Management constantly harasses people to speed up and work faster all with less and less time, they're followed on the streets, they're hounded in the office and generally treated like paid slaves. The PO has a massive retention issue with 70% quitting within their 90 days, Brian Renfroe is responsible for this god awful 1.3% proposal and people like Louis DeJoy are set to completely destroy the PO.

@ we’re not supposed to get out of the vehicle to deliver your mail. If you block the mail box plz goto the office and pick up your mail don’t be lazy. Also if he hit the mail box call the post office they will replace it for you. Accident happens. Good day

Being a mail carrier use to be a good job now their starting pay is comparable to some fast food workers. Does it increase with time sure after a few years. Carriers have to deal with the weather elements, assults, robbery, many walk 5-15 miles a day depending on their route, and extreme micro management. You shouldn't have to work 60hrs a week to afford to be alive.
