@Olan...2 жыл бұрын
Brilliant as always Pat......i guess knowing what time that car was torched will be crucial information for the police to check where and when it passed any local CCTV cameras although unless there was some serious crime connected to it the Police wont do anything because they are too busy arresting people on behalf of The Easily Offended Brigade :) Hopefully the Council will clear up the mess soon.
@patrickdickinson64922 жыл бұрын
Hi Olan, a couple of ladies sort of took over and reported it to police, if no reports of crime with vehicle, I dare say it'll be up to the council to clear up all the mess, probably leave a nasty scar. A completely stupid act, probably worth thousands, but gave me a bit of drama and something to film, hoping for more relaxed camp next time..... thanks Pat

Great video that. Had to laugh when you said your food was "quite basic" , 99% of wild campers seem to just boil up some flavoured noodles. Hi Patrick, Watching your video yesterday, among a few others, made my long journey by coach to Sheffield all the more enjoyable. Bravo dear chap for another excellent video. The Range Rover blaze certainly added an unusual dimension to your wild camping session. Although I often thought about wild camping, I usually ended up scaring the wits out of myself as I considered personal vulnerability aspects whist camping alone in an open expanse. Those were days before cell phones. That was one of the chief reasons I favoured camping at designated sites - not that protection was anything like brilliant. I certainly envy your courage Patrick, but you have valuable knowledge of where, and how to go wild camping, as well as bivying. Knowledge like those are a huge contribution towards a good wild camping experience. Me too dear chap! ‘Twas Dore Scouts that planted the camping bug in me LOL! All the best from Phil.

Hello Pat. Fantastic to hear your voice. You sound great! What a night:) Craig. The thinking about separating inner Soulo from outer on wet mornings to put the inner into a carrier bag when multiple nights camping. So it all doesn't get wet in the backpack when on the move. 56% Whisky sounds thoroughly tops to drink especially after a hearty meal in the heather. Glad to hear you are keeping it moving simply a fitter man. Warmest regards to your wife. See you later:)

Thanks for another edition in the series. I like that you have made reference to the music. Often channels miss this information and I find that interesting. Good to see the food and whisky tasting aspects. Also interesting to hear details such as the difference between your stoves and why you use one over the other. Lovely autumn colours appearing. Yes I got soaked by the rain the other day! Strange that fire incident, particularly as you can get your old car picked up - there must be a back story. Have you ever done an instalment with a Xmas theme? Could be fun to cook a traditional roast with samples of sherry and other festive drinks. 🙂

Hi Tony, always a great night when out in the tent, mind you did,nt expect the early bonfire, what a waste od a nice car. The music info is interesting, it seems to go on automatically now which is great for viewers, as for Christmas we will be having a few beers in my pub shed but that's about it, bit of a old Scrooge I,am...... thanks Pat
