If only I could get just the sounds of the jake, turbo, and your shifting. Reminds me of my Dad, riding with him growing up! Miss you Dad!

Hi, new sub, really enjoying your posts. Back in 1980 I was a frac truck operator for Dow Chemicals out of grand prairie driving a International cab over. Back in the days of rigging in in the dark and standing out at our Panels freezing . and chaining up to drive out in the mud snow. Its funny how alot hasn't changed much same shit with newer equipment. I appreciate your work. Craig
@TimelapseTruckerRTOTАй бұрын
thanks craig, its definitely still the same ole shit, just more power and no cabovers. those guys still freeze their ass off but now days they get breaks cause the worlds gone soft. thats why i like my job, im out there for 20 minutes usually max if even that

Hi I had the same problem in my 2001 Ford 250 the headlights didn't work at all I had tried almost every type of bulbs I could find until I was advised to install LED bulbs and I haven't regretted it since
@TimelapseTruckerRTOTАй бұрын
yeah part of my problem is i wanted the yellow look so i got yellow, they only come in a 2500k, the shittiest you can get brightwise. i should get LEDs and tint the headlight yellow. i got some fog lights now but summers over. but next year ill be ready

Hey is there a specific name or term you use for chasing (chaining) the tanks together, so you can winch em on the trailer?
@maloneyfx4792Ай бұрын
The only term I ever heard anyone say is a double suck
@TimelapseTruckerRTOTАй бұрын
yeah no real term no, its a double suck, use 2 suck chains, or one long chain and a boomer

No you have a non vgt turbo ? Or factory, seems to leg after shifts I’ve noticed
@TimelapseTruckerRTOTАй бұрын
aftermarket, im a lazy shifter for sure a lot of the time, it spools faster than factory and hits almost 40 psi. does not go over 900 degrees no matter what i do, the downfall is shitty jakes
