Romans named the area belonging to North-Central Europe in which Germanic peoples lived 'Germania'. Germans are not the only Germanic people. Angles, Saxons, Jutes, and Vikings, etc settled in Britain, some in larger numbers than others. And thanks for the entertaining vids!

You went up the tourist side of the loch. On the other bank there is an ancient woodland that scientists cannot date. They know its been constantly wooded for at least 16'500 years but the origin date is anyone's guess. Truly untouched stuff. A word of warning tho. It's not a camping spot, and a zero tolerance approach to open fires. It has various important trees, dinosaur tracks, obscure plants and animals. As a result there are cameras ***everywhere*** and, the best bit, park rangers do not monitor it. Instead its the army (royal marines) who have drones, night vision, heat vision and who knows what else.
