Another memorable anchorage. This time on Venture II in brooding Loch Scavaig on the Isle of Skye in the Western Isles of Scotland in 2010.

I used that ladder to board a tourist boat after hiking the Cullens. Walking across the outflow of the lough while carrying a large sodden back pack to get to the other side was a nerve wrecking experience, i felt that some of the passengers were hoping id fall in for the entertainment value, thankfully they didnt get their giggles. I hitched hiked around the Isle of Sky and Harris and Lewis, was quite funny getting a lift to Portnoo by a Priest who was planning to catch up with friends at one of the towns pubs, i was impressed by the locals speaking Gaelic, my grandfather would have been proud.
