Thanks for the video! I was hoping to hear a bit more on the other specs though aswell (shadow destro/affli). Also some tipps for Kara like how to time your Doom on Curator and things like that. I know this is a how to get 99 parse video so I guess you can only really get them if you ignore helping your raid and/or use cheese strats like on Maulgar (which btw I don't know any of my servers raids who actually did that). But if you do another video like that it'd be nice if a bit more for the non-super-hardcore players was included :)

So my question is when does shadow destro surpass or even tie with fire destro and how? Because my crit is getting up there while maintaining hit cap

I love these talks but there is so little on affliction, I kinda wanna suggest that at least one of guest locks is an affli pro, cos we do exist and we also want to do well for our teams. Otherwise very enjoyable chat and great tips. Ty guys

Hey man by no means am I a pro. But I have been testing a lot of different warlock specs (been playing warlock since classic release Cursedcookie - Netherwind) and I am the affliction warlock for my guild and they dont require one. Anyways, I find it's best to stay in the middle for high king and spreading all curses. You almost have NO time to cast shadowbolts, but you can manage to get a few off. As for Gruul, I find it's best to apply all curses on my way to a good position and using deathcoil and shadowburn during all movement. I'll probably use around 10 shards minuim due to shadowburn tbh.. I also find myself creeping on meters the longer the fight is due to improved lifetap, better threat management b/c I am affliction and also being able to drop a little hit for SP gear because I get curse spell hit points from the tree.

We're down to around 28 seconds on high king now so I seldom rotate dots until the King is down, mostly just opening with SB/corr/immo and then SB spam till dead. Gruul wise, this SB spam on CD is a great idea which I hadn't included yet, probably should have thought of that sooner, thank you mate

Guys destro was beaten to death in original TBC. Everyone knew about the same things then as they do now. Do something fresh. Let's talk about how a malediction lock. The poor guy who is destined to be 12 on the meter but would be top 4 if his damage buff increase was added on warcraft logs (hot garbage site). Or what about shadow destro? When and what gear for the next phase? Cmon guys.. need something different here.

eh most all of the top parses are just cheesed.. for example i got a 99 on illhoof last week simply because I was like the only one with reliable AOE in my entire raid comp, my raid is super casual players and dont really care who they bring. But if it was a more legitimate setup theres no way in hell I would have been able to pad all that extra damage through seeds because everything would be dying too quickly. Theres also people getting like 100% bloodlust uptime with shamans just rotated through their group and other cheesy stuff going on.. take top parses with a grain of salt.

when content is easy, padding/cheese is inevitable. On terestian, in a sense you don't even need one person to aoe adds anyway as they don't pose enough of a risk to be urgently killed. So by semantics, killing them is always padding
