So... We are on lockdown, we are allowed one form of exercise a day where we usually fly Mikey and Mia but for this entire video, we didn’t leave the house once. We have really enjoyed this isolation period and it’s helping the world. In this video, you will see epic macaw showers, epic recall training, a very dramatic walnut challenge, (everyone loves parrots running in slo mo) lots of cuddles, Mikey and Mia getting close, and our parrots diet. Hey there I've just got a green wing macaw turned 1 yesterday we have had the bird 5 days now been watching your videos and learning alot from them trying new things with drama and starting to gain trust let's me stroke him where ever I want just wont step up just grabs my hand and puts it on his head hope your all keeping safe and well

Put a stick in front of him,when he touches the stick with his beak praise him and give him some treats than make him put one claw on you're hand to reach the treat and say step up and do this for about 1 week than you can make him put the other claw on you're hand to be able to react the stick and then just repeat for 2 weeks and then he should learn this trick pretty well.

It's so weird that the whole world is going through...pretty much the same thing. Never seen anything like this before. All the things you mentioned are going on in the US too. Oh my gosh, you guys are so cute. All four of you. Thank you so much for spending the day and sharing it with us. I absolutely love seeing how well they’re doing now and how far they’ve come. I keep remembering the beginning pictures of Mia when she was stuffed in the cage and couldn’t even walk. Now she is so happy again flying etc. it Hass to take you at least 10 towels to clean up the bathroom after Mikey‘s been in there. It looks like water goes everywhere. LOL please make more! Its always lovely to watch them and the way you all interact, Isolation is not easy with birds that are used to the out side life, like yourself if you do go out with your birds they will attract a lot of attention. I have quite a few members in my flock but my two Macaws rule the home and me, I am on twelve weeks isolation as I had my nose and a bit more removed not long ago, so seeing your birds enjoy your garden did give me a smile, thank you

Haha these birds are a stupid amount of work so keep that in mind, make sure you have your own place, a bunch of spare cash as looking after these birds cost more than buying them, keep in mind they are extremely messy, loud, and require a lot of time. You will be their slave. If you have the time and patience they will he very rewarding. .

Hi my friends! We’re the same here in NYC, only a bit worse for me, as I’m a flight attendant (UK translation: air hostesses. I’m bilingual due to 17 years in London!). Flights are empty, wages slashed. All my KZbin subscriptions are animal related. And our mutual love of animals will get us through this. All animal KZbin channels are posting such as this, to bring us a smile. Yes, our precious macaws LOVE their walnuts. What a brilliant game idea for entertainment- for birds and humans!
