I remember getting a tractor engine un stuck with you a long time ago. May not have been the best approach but it came loose and fired up pretty nice ! Haha

If you're a Ford guy and tend to keep random crap in a from other projects, Ford Small block long head bolts work well for mounting it on a stand.

I like everything, They all have there good and bad. When it comes to trucks it has to be a old Ford. Loved them since I was a baby. Dad had a 79 f250 when I was a toddler and I loved it, He hated the 351M in it and wishes he would of had a 300 six. This motor is going in a 1967 Wagon.

@@wildrosegarage4208the 300 six is probably the most reliable engine Ford has ever built, would have lasted till this day probably

PB Blast may help in the lifter removal Ive seen it turn rust into a paste than can be cleaned away with Brake or carb clean. Good luck👍

Thanks. I have nothing against fords at all. Love old Ford pickups 80-86 will always be my favorite style but I like them all. And a little 302 will always be my favorite motor not for a pull rig but for a light car. I will say one thing about this FE it has a very nice casting. Thanks for watching Barerose.
