I feel like Joe sometimes plays down our strengths a little bit, but I definitely get that he is trying to be as unbiased as is reasonably possible. From that perspective, I don't mind so much. It doesn't hurt that he is accurate with most of his analyses, quite knowledgeable, and palatable enough for my tastes. I don't always agree with his takes, but I usually do, lol, and he is one of the better Buffalo podcasters I have ever come across, and that's not exactly a small crowd. The gents with Erik over at Cover One are pretty good, as well. Love that we have such good local coverage here. I'm guessing not every small market team (or even larger market, for that matter) has local coverage of similar quantity and quality. Good stuff.

Bills lost the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball during each of the last Jags losses. I don't know if Jax will be fired up this Monday, but that's the most critical point.

Thinking back to last weekend and how the Bengals lost to the Chiefs, I was wondering that if it was Josh Allen that did what Burrow did and fumbled for a TD, do you think all the sports analysis would be saying "Allen needs to stop playing hero ball" and "He has to do everything because of no weapons"? It seems like Allen is always under a microscope compared to other QBs meanwhile you got Burrow playing only Half his Contract, and Mahomes getting complimented on TV during a game for throwing a ball into the Dirt. Now I think both Burrow and Mahomes are phenomenal QBs, i just don't get why Allen gets Hated despite having some of the best stats since entering the league. Even looking at his all time throw-int ratio, he's been cleaner than some of the greatest QBs of the past.

Lawrence is a pocket passer with a bad pass protecting line, should be an easy defensive strategy - pass rush him and knock him around. Do not sit back and let him pick you apart, that's why they had success against the Bills last year. Offensively the Bills have struggled because the Jags shut down the Bills rush game and pressured Allen, the new offensive style should be more effective with a better run blocking line, a commitment to running the ball and a quicker pass game that makes it harder to pressure Allen. But if the jags stack the run game, they better be ready to throw the ball often and early to get them to loosen up. Committing to the run is good but it becomes stupid if your opponent is overcommitting and giving you the pass.

Lawrence can move. He just usually doesn't choose to. I expect a couple scrambles like we saw in both games so far from Tua and Kyler as the pocket collapses and we give up contain.
