Thank you!! Finally someone in the Lakers community who is telling the truth about Dlo. Yes, this season he got us to the playoffs, but even more so last season. As you pointed out, Klay was not good in the playoffs this year, neither was a superstar like Kyrie against the Celtics. No-one can say that Dlo has been good against Nuggets these two play-offs, but coach the guy to be better, help him with his mental blocks instead of hating on him or trade him for some injury prone ex-superstar with no guarantees of delivery on the court. A mental sports coach is by far cheaper, than a bad trade for a superstar’ish guy on the back end of his career.

Kobe’s bullshit meter probably broke when he knew he had to call Jeanie “The Mother of Dragons” in order for her to fire Jim/Mitch and hire his buddy. There’s NO way someone who knew true heart and fearlessness like Kobe did thought Jeanie was a strong leader. Rob thought his ‘smarter than the rest of the room” act was gonna work in the NBA. Btw if you’re Jeanie - we get hit with a “Lakers tax” no matter who’s in charge - why hire (two at the time) FRIENDS who had ZERO previous NBA front office experince to run baketball ops. She should be running a flower shop in the midewest where you could hire friends and family and cheap out on things. She’s always been in over her head here, as are the cronies she employs. The Jerry’s are probably simultaneously laughing and crying up above right now watching Jeanie fuck up a LeBron/AD era.

First day of FA and the Lakers sign Max. Meanwhile pieces that can help are now off the table. Sorry Bros. Not Ham fan but. Max didn't play last year wasn't Ham's fault. Max will have a long career. Max was not a good ball handler last year. Didn't like to pass. Too small to guard the three. Thats why Cam and Prince played. Thats why the Lakers got Spencer D.

This video pretty much sounds like you cover the Los Angeles Max Christies not the Los Angeles Lakers. You got what you wanted signing Max and I wish him well, three years would have been enough, but I get it. As for why Dinwiddee and Gabe Vincent and Cam got minutes over the "Max". The fact that Dinwiddee and Vincent were major acquisitions that needed minutes to try to gel and win games not get experience is lost. And most importantly The soon to be traded for nothing devil in sneakers Cam Reddish that dared play better than Christie, his factor in the win streak in and towards the In Season Tournament Championship against a solid Pacer team and Haliburton is long forgotten, his playing hurt all season is forgotten too as he is now just fodder for fault throwing. Again I hope Christie does well, but you podcast elites are not seeing the game with your eyes you are more seeing the game with your feelings when you watch Max play. Nuff said.

LBJ has NEVER received his value. He has received the max the CBA has allowed. No one in the league moves the needle like LBJ, and that’s over 2 full decades. That is the reason it is comical that people think LBJ SHOULD take less than the max. Teams/GMs all over the league make smart roster/contract moves, even when they have superstar salaries to account for, but many times the Lakers don’t. If LBJ agrees to take less, cool, but the team/front office knows the CBA, the cap, and it’s their job to construct a roster that works - not LBJ.

Hi Light. The pressure is putting the offer out there, but with an expiration date. Get it done quickly, or I'm going to take the full extension.
