Did it several times myself too, tried to test it what will hapen, game just exits dialogue since they dont have money to bet. Funny thing is that person whom you stole money says something like- I think i had more Groshen with me"

I found that the best loot is always in the merchants chest at night. There are few very hard chests at every merchant where they store they Items and money. For example I´ve been selling armour to one armourer the whole game and when I leveled up lockpicking I randomly found all his stuff and 115K groschen from all my things he sold.

Best KDC channel I've found. Concise, eloquent and with a good deal of experimentation shown in every video to give detail data. Excelent production and edition it is as entertaining as it is educational. You have given me exactly what I needed to level up stealth and pickpocketing which has been really a miserable experience to engage so far but I think this vid has given me an edge I'm gonna put in practice. Thanks for another helpful video; when first discovering the (then frustrating, now utter brilliant) lockpicking in this awesome game, i almost gave up on the whole game; now i welcome the challenge of every hard lock i come across. Lockpicking was a pain when the game first released, now the improved UI helps in guiding console players on the sweet spot About pickpocketing, wayfarers on the road are excellent practice, they always carry money and food. Think of it as the road tax 😅 When in hardcore mode, exp gain is much slower so the pad foot potion greatly helps when not having luck of the drunk perk

I like to lock pick on hard door of blacksmith in Rattay and sleep in abandoned building nest to it ☝️ It is a good lock pick training soot

Just starting up as a scoundrel and I can't walk through Rataje without guard trying to search me even if I'm clean. Is it tied to anything or do I have to avoid them when walking out with hot stuff?

It's tied to conspicuousness stat afaik. It's the reason why I carry colorful clothes in my pack,because dark and dirty clothes seem to add to it. I just swap them out when I'm done being a thief for the day.

Switch the lockpicking mode to Simple in the controls setting. That should make it a lot easier.

Why are you playing Standard mode? It states in the game that HC is for experienced players which you are.

I feel bad roleplaying a murderer andstealing loot in the city. Just stealth killed the scribe in the rauthaus to take all the books and no one knows.

That scribe never leaves his bed even during day time,I think. He also doesn't react to Henry's presence in any way.😂
