I really love the On18 engines. I've been looking into building an O scale layout and I like to scratch build. All I would need is n-scale track some Kato powered trucks and I could scratch build the engines themselves and also the cars. Your layout has given me lots of inspiration.

Those are some really nice lokies you have there. That's what makes your layout one of my favourites on YT. I think my most favourite is the Sam McKim since as you've already mentioned was originally designed to be HO scale but with some modifications makes a good On30 engine as well.

Because a Mogul is too large to reliably negotiate the layout's tightest radius curves (15").

Hey Dave, love the videos! Where would coal or wood be held on a small 0-4-0 like #3 the Rattler? Don't see a container for it like on some of your other Porters.

There was usually a small bin just inside the cab. In real service, these little engines were used in construction or for shunting cars back and forth over short distances. They were not meant to be road engines so no need for a large fuil bunker or tender.

Nice video, you have quite the stable of Locos.I love the laser-cut Chloe-inspired cab ( Porter Bell looking cab) you have developed. Are you going to use it on your 0n30 4-4-0 project.vs the mount blue wood cab? Was it designed to fit the 4-4-0? I will defiantly grab one when you release, them I especially like your Heisler Bash as it captures the look of a Disney loco with the detail, imaginative paint, decals and realistic details. I recommend the Wiseman early 18 ton Shay conversion, resin and plastic currently offered on his website. as a possible 2nd geared loco for your roster. It looks great when assembled and weathered.
